Chapter 6: Moments before Disaster

I gave the taxi-driver Lucas' mansion address then the driver nodded.

He started the engine of the taxi and drove off with me seating in the back of the car.

I kept thinking about what I did or say earlier, if I did the right thing.

Nah, it's fine. I don't really give a f-ck.

"I'll pay for it." Lucas said as he grabbed money from his wallet and handed it to the driver of the taxi

Lucas is nice, he payed for the ride I've been and took my hand.

The taxi drove off, leaving me and Lucas together.

"So, what brings you here?" Lucas glanced at me.

"Well, I couldn't just forget about you." I said with a low voice. After that I felt ashamed of myself.

Why do I feel a pang of guilt punching my stomach over and over again? It's like I shouldn't have left Terissa and Maico.

What would mom say if she found out I left Teris and Maico together in that modern designed-house I use to call my 'safe place'

I looked down as I followed Lucas back to his room, feeling uncomfortable about the dream I had earlier.

Something is telling me to go back from where I belong, but my pride kept on telling me I'm doing the right thing.

It serves Teris right that I can handle sh-t now.

I relaxed my eyes and body for the upcoming scene that's about to happen, expecting it.

Suddenly my phone rang and I was about to answer it when Lucas snatched my phone and placed it aside.

- What the hell? Hey!

I tried reaching for the phone but Lucas kept blocking me.

Lucas unbuttoned his shirt and pinned me to the bed with his strong arms,

"Your body is mine, Bevila."

Holy crap, this is exactly what I dreamt of. My instincts were telling me to back away from that man. But I ignored it and got along with making out.

Suddenly I saw other men entering the room while me and Lucas were kissing, I pulled away from the kiss and glanced towards these men in black.

"Wh-ho are y-you people?" I whispered while Lucas was taking off my shorts

The men circled around the bed while I felt uncomfortable and scared at the same time, that's when my guts told me to run because these men are obviously up to no good.

I kicked Lucas' chin so hard that he fell back on the edge of the bed, the men were startled then quickly caught up to me, then that's where I fainted with so much horrific feelings.

I woke up in a dark place, the yellow lamp was my only light source. I could barely move my arms, legs and even head. But I felt my brain was the only thing I can move, even my eyes.

But 1 minute later, after trying hard to move my head I finally did it. When I looked down at my body...
