Hey guys this is the first chapter of this book and I'm so sorry that this is going out today instead of on Sunday when it was supposed to 😭😭 but I hope you like it so far and will like me to continue. There was no script that followed the movie exactly, so I used the movie to be more exact. I need him to hold me like that 😏😫
Warnings: Not fully proofread as it's almost 1:00 am

A crisp and perfect New England town. Almost too neat to be real. No visible townspeople. The perfect Victorian house surveying the perfect village. Suddenly a daddy longlegs spider mounts the crest of a hill beside the house model that Adam built.
Oh, that's a big fella...!" Adam says as he gently reaches down towards the Daddy longlegs which climbs into his hand.
Adam's model town sprawls across most of the attic space. There are windows on either end of the attic that shed good light into the warm room. He then very carefully lifts the spider towards the open window. Pausing for a moment as he brings it towards where you laid under the table the model was on, to tease you a bit knowing you weren't too fond of them.
You narrowed your eyes softly as you watched your father move closer to you with the spider. You shifted back a bit speaking softly.
"Dad."
He looks at you with a small smile, "What it's not going to hurt you."
Barbara, your mother then shook her head softly as she spoke to your father staring at him with a knowing look, "Adam."
"Fine." your father said smiling as he moved towards the window and drops the spider lightly into the breeze (RIP Spider 💀)
Your father walks back over to his model as your mother peeks around the corner gazing at him. She then walked over to where her husband was speaking softly,
"Looks great."
He speaks softly looking down at the model before glancing at her, "Thanks."
She pulls out a wrapped present from behind her back happily, "Happy vacation, honey!"
He smiles softly letting out a small sound as he then opens his present which is a can of furniture oil.
His smile seems to widen as speaks, "Manchurian Tung oil? Where did you get this?"
"Helen got it for me in Oslo." She says with a smile.
"There's enough in here to do the whole table and the bureau" You smiled softly as your father seemed happy with his gift.
He pulls down a gift from somewhere high up, handing it to your mother as she makes the same noise he made earlier. She smiles unwrapping the gift.
"I wonder what this could be?" She says. "Oh honey. You got it, thank you."
She hugs him softly as the present he got her is some wallpaper. One that she had wanted for a while.
"There's enough to do the entire guest room." She hugs him softly.
You watched them softly before speaking, "I have something for you both too."
You watched as they tilted their heads, kneeling down to your level as you were still under the table. You smiled softly as you gently handed them both their gifts.
"You know that you didn't have to get us anything." Your mother states as she slowly unwraps her gift as so does your father.
"I know but I thought you would both like a gift." You smiled softly as you gazed at them.
