Synopsis:
Blackmailed to help Hugh acquire the Astralis Codex to do his own bidding, Lena must navigate outside the law in order to maintain her position as a curator for Ethereum Museum. But doing so comes at a great cost. Because the Codex isn't the only thing endangering her.

Author's Note:
Well, hello there! If you're coming from my last book, "Between Then & Now," you'll notice how different this is compared to the rest of my works. My first two books were romantic comedies, but now, we're delving into the darker side of things. I have ADHD, so I need to get in the right mindset to write this sort of plot. Hence the fancy layout. Fancier?
Anywho, as you can tell, Hugh is not a celebrity here, and to keep up with the fantasy aspect of this story, I will not be using his last name, which breaks my heart because I really like it otherwise.
Side note, I've always wanted to make character aesthetics, and I finally got to live out that dream today. 15 year old me would be so proud. I'm also keeping up with the black and white theme, because to me it just looks better, and I think it's very fitting for this story anyway.
Like always, there will be updates everyday! At this point, I have no life and work when I can, but this is pretty much the only constant in my life aside from you all that continue to show me love and support and make me bawl my eyes out. Every. Damn. Time. Buuuut, I love it so you can keep it coming! If you want, of course. No pressure or anything.
