KS opened her eyes to see light all around. She tried to adjust to the brightness and gradually became comfortable. She looked around and realized she was in a secret location—a small building by the banks of the Ganga. She saw a middle-aged man with a handsome and dashing personality, busy with his work. KS approached the man, who gave her a comfortable, knowing smile and welcomed her.
KS was shocked to see the man. He resembled Shivani Pawar. Yes, he was the grandfather of Miss Pawar, who had been doing research on time travel. His project was rejected by everyone, so he continued his research in secret. He extended his hand for a handshake. "Hi, I am Subodh Kumar Pawar."
KS shook hands with him, her hand trembling slightly. "Hi, Mr. Pawar. I am Karishma Singh," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
He gave her a knowing smile. "How is my Betu? I know you met her, that's why you are here."
KS smiled at him, her eyes brightening. "She is a very good person, and she is doing great, Mr. Pawar."
He chuckled softly. "Call me Dadu. Shivu calls me that, and you are her friend, so you can call me Dadu too."
KS's eyes filled with happiness. She had never received love from her grandparents as they died before she was born, and even her father died when she was very young. She had some faded memories of her father. Mr. Pawar hugged her warmly, rubbing her back to comfort her.
He then asked, "Chai pioge? Yahan coffee nahi milegi."
KS laughed a little and said, "Yes."
Mr. Pawar handed her a cup of tea and took one for himself. They sat near the bank of the Ganga. KS asked why he was living there. Mr. Pawar began narrating his story, his eyes reflecting a mixture of nostalgia and pride.
KS became more curious and leaned in. "Please tell me more about this place," she asked eagerly.
He gave her a knowing look. "Beta, ye jagah Dwapar Yug se judi hai. Jyatar log nahi jaante iski bare mein. Kam log jaante hain pehle is jagah ka naam Kondnyapur tha. Bhagwan Shree Krishna ki patni Rukmani ji ka janam yahan hua tha. Wo bachpan se hi Amba Devi ki mandir jaati thi jo yahan se thode dur par hai. Woh mandir aaj bhi wahi hai jahan Rukmani ji pooja karti thi. Jab Shree Krishna ko Rukmani ji ne patra likh kar bheja tha aur Shree Krishna unhe lene aaye the, tab unki bhai Balram ji ne ise apni hal se pura palat diya tha. Yahan ke log kahte hain ki ab bhi khudai mein uski kuch sakshye milte hain. Ab is jagah ka naam Aahar hai," he explained, his voice filled with a sense of reverence for the history of the place.
KS felt a rush of excitement after knowing this. She asked, "Dadu, woh..."
Mr. Pawar interrupted gently, "I know agar tum yahan aayi ho to koi bahut hi khaas wajah lekar aayi ho. Betu ne tumhe sab bata diya hoga. Phir bhi beta, is pen ko kabhi khud se alag mat karna. Jab tumhare jaane ka waqt hoga to tumhe yahan aana hoga. Ab jao, tumhare paas sirf saat din hain. Ye lo, meri gadi le jao."
KS hesitated, a bit overwhelmed. "How can I?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mr. Pawar smiled warmly. "Dadu hoon na tumhara. To le jao aur jab aao tab mere liye kalakand lete aana, wahin se. Phir main bhi khush."
KS hugged him
.........KS headed towards her home in Lucknow and reached there in the evening. Overwhelmed by her emotions, she stopped near her home, sitting in the car with brimming eyes. She heard a voice she had been dying to hear.
