-Timeskip a few days
During those few days, Wendy and Dipper did everything together. They watched movies, went to Greasy's Diner, played at the arcade, even went on Mystery Hunts together! They both still worked together too, and talked about their new friends and experiences in college.-Present
Dipper and Wendy were sitting on the couch in the Shack, watching an old rerun of "Nearly Almost But Not Quite Dead" Dipper looked over at her, noticing her beautiful red hair, her pale skin, the way she smiled...
"No way, it's been 8 years, she probably doesn't even like you..." Dipper thought. Dipper was staring at her, then Wendy looked over at him, surprised.
"You alright dude, the movie's over there?" She pointed out.
"Yeah, yeah...I'm just, tired...is all." He replied, looking away, hoping she didn't see him blush.
Wendy then started thinking, "Does he still like me... no it's been 8 years, he probably already has a girlfriend..." She started frowning at this thought.
Dipper looked back at her, "Now are you alright, movie's that way?" He said sarcastically, with a slight grin.
"Yeah, I'm fine" She replied still in deep thought. "His brown curly hair is so handsome, and he's pretty muscular by the looks of it" She turned away quickly, as he turned to look at her.
"Hey, you remember this?" He asked her. trying to take his mind off the previous thought. He showed her his old hat he got from the Shack the first time he came here.
"Yeah, I do!" She replied, also wanting to think of something else. "That was like your, signature thing!"
"Yeah, like you and that, that...I don't know, floppy fur hat?" He said, being actually confused and crinkling hus eyebrows, about what the hat actually was. "Oh yeah, and that green flannel shirt!" He said, teasing her about her past.
"Oh shut up, Mr. I Wear Vests not matter what." She laughed at him. Dipper also laughed, when both of them realized how much they had changed over that years.
Dipper looked down, dressed in his usual jeans, red shirt, wearing a dark blue, casual dress shirt over with rolled up sleeves and leaving it unbuttoned.(Yes, I am describing him using the picture in the 2nd Chapter)
Wendy also did this, as she had a plaid, green tank top and just skinny jeans as well.
Dipper thought, "You know what, I might as well tell her now so this doesn't become like when I did have to tell her 8 years ago." He sighed nervously, (Thank God, he lost his sweating problem, hallelujah!" He looked up at her, with a confidence in his eyes. "So Wendy you're not seeing anybody right?" He asked hopefully.
"No I'm not, why?" She responded, hoping that it was leading to where she thought it was going.
"Well I wondered, if you'd like to have dinner tomorrow night, like a date?" Dipper asked her, half filled with doubt, and hope.
"Yeah dude, I thought you'd never ask!" She responded excitedly.
"Sweet!" Dipper said, screaming with joy on the inside. "Just a question, what do you mean, "Thought you'd never ask?"
Wendy clearly embarrassed, answered quietly. "Well Dipper, through the last few days I've developed feelings for you, but I was too afraid too tell you."
Dipper whispered in her ear, "I've felt that way about you for 8 years." Then pulling her into a deep kiss, as they both felt fireworks and another feeling among themselves... such as love.
Hey I know this isn't a very long story, but it's my first so I'm pretty happy with how my first one ended. I'll make longer, better, and more varieties of stories later on, but not now because I'm just getting started.
