EXT. STREETS - DAY
MICKEY MOUSE strolls down the streets of their town, his ears drooping with sorrow. Simultaneously, DONALD DUCK marches along the same path, a storm of sadness and anger brewing within him. In a moment of frustration, DONALD DUCK swings his fist in the air, inadvertently connecting with MICKEY MOUSE'S face causing him to collapse to the ground.
DONALD: (startled) Oh, I'm so sorry, Mickey!
Worried, DONALD DUCK picks up MICKEY MOUSE and takes him to his boathouse where he places him on his couch and gives him a glass of water.
MICKEY: (confused) Donald?
DONALD: (scared) I'm so sorry, Mickey! I didn't mean to.
MICKEY: (softly) It's alright, Donald. I understand. Heartbreak can make us do strange things.
DONALD DUCK sits down next to MICKEY MOUSE and tells him what happened.
DONALD: (softly) Yeah. I guess you're right Daisy found someone better than me.
MICKEY: (nodding) I know how you feel, pal. Minnie was my sunshine on a cloudy day. But I guess there will be someone better than them right?
As they confide in each other, a spark of unexpected emotion ignites within them.
DONALD: (softly) Yeah. I guess you're right.
DONALD DUCK flusters as he turns his head away from MICKEY MOUSE as MICKEY MOUSE notices.
MICKEY: (confused) Donald? Are you ok?
DONALD: (hiding) Yeah. Yeah Mickey. I'm fine.
MICKEY MOUSE didn't take DONALD DUCK'S response as he knew something was up.
MICKEY: (skeptical) Are you sure? Because I see you blushing.
DONALD DUCK'S turns his head even more and covers his face more avoiding eye contact with MICKEY MOUSE.
MICKEY: (comforting) Donald. It's ok. You can tell me anything.
DONALD DUCK tries to hide it from MICKEY MOUSE even more but he couldn't hold it in anymore.
DONALD: (blurting) Mickey! I love you!
MICKEY MOUSE was shocked by what DONALD DUCK said as he started to blush too.
MICKEY: (blushing) Um...Donald?
DONALD: (blushing) Yeah...Mickey?
MICKEY: (blushing) I love you too.
DONALD DUCK was shocked by what MICKEY MOUSE said as he started to blush even more.
DONALD: (blushing more) Really?
MICKEY: (blushing) Yeah and um...I want to um...return the favor.
DONALD DUCK was confused by what MICKEY MOUSE meant as MICKEY MOUSE leaned in for a tender kiss making DONALD DUCK shocked at first but slowly enjoying it as they made out for a few minutes.
MICKEY: (blushing but smiling) I never thought I'd find love like this.
DONALD: (blushing) Me neither, Mickey. Me neither.
DONALD DUCK and MICKEY MOUSE decided to embark on a new journey together, leaving their past relationships behind
MICKEY: (determined) Let's start fresh, Donald. Just you and me.
DONALD: (blushing) Ok.
MICKEY: (blushing) So...tonight, we go on a date?
DONALD: (blushing) Yeah. That sounds great. I might be late though.
MICKEY: (comforting) Don't worry Donald. It doesn't matter. See you tonight.
MICKEY MOUSE gets up from the couch and gives DONALD DUCK a kiss on the cheek as DONALD DUCK watches MICKEY MOUSE leave his boathouse while blushing.
