Red Carpet

"Hi, Offroad! Here!"

"Can you look this way, please?"

Photographers swarmed around him as he stepped onto the red carpet, flashes of camera followed. Tiktok had invited him to their fashion show, and even though it had been years since he'd left showbiz, the familiar rush of lights and fans stirred something within him—a reminder of a world he'd once left behind. He smiled and waved, basking in the attention. Despite the time away, the calls of fans and the crackle of excitement made him feel like he had never really been gone. For a brief moment, he let himself revel in the energy pulsing through the crowd.

As he made his way toward the entrance, a loud, playful voice called out, breaking through the crowd's chatter.

"Who is this hot diva hereeee?!" a voice called out from the crowd, full of playful energy.

Offroad turned, laughter bubbling up as he spotted a familiar face. "Pentor!" he called, a wide grin spreading across his face.

Pentor weaved through the crowd toward him, and the two embraced, the warmth of friendship and shared memories wrapping around them. Seeing him here felt surreal, as if no time had passed at all, though in reality, it had been years since they'd stood in the same spotlight.

"I missed you so much, Offroad!" Pentor exclaimed, pulling back to take a good look at him, eyes bright with excitement. "I haven't heard from you since... when was it? Two years ago? Oh my god, you look stunning!" His voice held a mixture of awe and affection.

Offroad chuckled, "I missed you too, Pentor! It really does feel like forever. You haven't changed one bit—you still know how to make a scene, don't you?"

Pentor grinned, a spark of mischief lighting up his eyes. "It's called making an entrance! You of all people should know that." He nudged Offroad playfully, his laughter contagious. "I couldn't believe it when I saw your name on the list. I had to see it with my own eyes! Especially here, at an event like this."

People often said they looked alike, both of them gifted with visuals that had earned them the nickname "twins." Their friendship had only deepened during the grueling days of training, when they shared both the highs and lows of idol life—the exhaustion, the backstage whispers, the hours of rehearsals, and the rare moments of unfiltered joy.

Seeing Pentor here brought all of that back, vivid and alive.

"You know," Pentor said, his tone growing slightly more serious, "I heard you've been doing incredible things with your brand. But..." he paused, casting Offroad a sidelong glance, "you really should let loose a bit more. The runway misses you."

Offroad shrugged, trying to keep his tone casual. "I've been busy. Business has a way of taking over, you know?" He gestured around, absorbing the atmosphere. "I didn't even know you were performing tonight."

Pentor's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh, it's going to be epic! Just wait until you see my new routine—it's all about bringing the heat. I've been working on something special, and you're going to love it."

Offroad's face brightened, "I can't wait to see it, Pentor. It's good to be back in this atmosphere."

As they made their way to their seats, Offroad found himself approached by familiar faces from the modeling industry, each one greeting him with warmth and genuine excitement. Old colleagues and fellow models clapped him on the back, their questions bubbling up as they crowded around him.

"When are you coming back to the runway, Offroad?"

"It's been too long—you know we miss seeing you out there!"
