Chapter 1: Catching their eyes part 1

•New eridu public security academy was one of the most prestigious places in the entirety of new eridu, many considered it an honour to be able to study there and become an officer who can protect people. However on the inside it was different, not by much, but still different. There are those who are from rich families who believe they are better than others, they bully those who are weaker than them, especially people who are more reserved or shy. As such a key target to them was our good friend, m/n seicho, a young man who never said much to others and kept to himself most of the time, this made him a prime target for bullying. He would fight back but he knew better, he had a good heart and never wanted to cause unnecessary problems for himself or others•

•the time was coming for the students in their final year to participate in, what may be, the most important event of their lives. At the end of every students time at public security academy the "graduation event" occurs, its one day of the year where all the students in their final year will face off in multiple games throughout the day to prove themselves to the many precincts who come to watch. All high ranking officers take note of the ones with the highest potential and then recruits them into their precinct. This would be the first time that captain zhu yuan of the criminal investigation team was going to participate and she was pretty nervous about it secretly but she never let it show. arriving early in the morning alongside seth lowell and automaton qingyi, they quickly went to find the information sheets which held a biography of all the students who would be participating in the event, scanning over them all she took note of them. Joshua Adams "the physical strongest", Arthur Alistair "the smartest", Ethan Boman "the tactician". And yet none of them caught her eye•

Seth: see anyone interesting captain?

Zhu yuan:......so far no, they all have good stats in one category but they seem......selfish......

Qingyi: most students are like that in this type of event, I've seen it all the time, over confident brats who only care about themselves.....

Seth: hopefully we see someone out there that shows potential, besides even if we dont its not like we have to take anyone right?

Zhu yuan: yeah thats true.....

Qingyi: hey take a look at that one, m/n seicho, he has terrible physicals, i mean his nickname is the "shy warrior". Shy warrior? Seriously?

Seth: haha! I'd love to see that!

Zhu yuan: you probably will soon, *sigh* lets just hope we someone with a good heart at least.....

•leaving the conversation for now the three realised they had another hour before the event actually began and so seth excused himself to get a drink. Walking down the hall it was nearly silent except for the sound of his feet hitting the ground, that changed however when he heard a commotion up ahead, a student he recognised quite easily was holding up another by his collar.•

Joshua: you dont stand a chance in these games you little nerd! Just leave now!

•seth was about to intervene when a timid voice called out from across the end of the hall•

•silence was all that was heard for a while as seth hid behind a wall to observe the situation, laughter quickly filled the hall from the bully as he dropped the small student and walked up to m/n•
