Chapter 4: Abnormalites at work

(Section 1: Belobog)

•As the sun rose, a new day at public security is seen, officers working diligently with civilians inside the station and paperwork being completed. Zhu Yuan stood in front of M/n whilst seth and qingyi were working off to the side, the conversation the two were was very impor-•

Zhu Yuan: your prohibited from using ultra instinct.

M/n: eh?

Zhu Yuan: i was looking over footage of your battles from your time in the academy and your physicals, you rely on it too much to the point you don't improve or win battles any other way.

M/n: b-but-

Zhu Yuan: in order to grow as an officer and a person we cant allow ourselves to rely on one weapon, especially a weapon with such harsh draw backs as ultra instinct.

M/n: i-

Zhu Yuan: so for now at least your not allowed to use ultra instinct in battle or sparing, unless your explicitly told otherwise, regular training is fine though, also when your in such a dangerous situation where you need it. We'll continue to work on your physicals to help you, okay?

M/n:.......y-yes captain......

Zhu Yuan: good, im not trying to be harsh but one day, if you rely on it too much, your growth will stagnate and you'll get into serious trouble. Understand?

M/n: y-yeah.....

Zhu Yuan: alright, now, for today you'll be coming with me and Qingyi to Belobog heavy industries, we got a call not too long ago about an incident in a hollow there. Okay?

M/n: r-right....w-why is mr Seth not coming?

Zhu Yuan: Seth has been placed on a different assignment for the time being. Get ready because we'll be leaving in 10.

•with that Zhu Yuan walked off to prepare, as did Qingyi. M/n was conflicted, on one hand he was weary of not using ultra instinct but on the other, he knew Zhu Yuan was right. He did rely on it far too much and he didn't feel like he was getting stronger despite the training he was doing and the sparing matches•

Seth: don't worry about it M/n!

M/n: *jumps back* EKK! D-don't surprise me like that!

Seth: haha! Sorry, but seriously the captain only means well. we all saw what happened during the graduation event and how you pushed yourself, just be careful? Oh and good luck with Belobog, i hear they have some interesting personalities! *walks away*

M/n:......(he's right.....)

(A little while later)

•M/n, Qingyi and Zhu Yuan were in a cruiser and heading towards the place inside the hollow to the pioneers memorial plaza. Alongside a few other officers. Once they arrived Zhu Yuan just told M/n to follow her and Qingyi, which he was more than happy to do as he got the creeps from this place. Standing beside Zhu Yuan he saw four people in front of him and one bangboo. A short red haired lady he recognises as Koleda Belobog, the head of Belobog heavy industries. A tall brown bear thiren with a scar over his left eye, a tall black and red haired man with a large white coat and weird drill thing? And finally someone he saw on tv once, Grace Howard, the genius of Belobog•
