In compare to the usual venture Kinich does, this was slow; very slow. Reason being y/n have too much curiosity for anything, like everything is new, let it be fruits, animals, insects, trees even monsters; for the last one, Kinich always tug y/n back when she just merely locks her eyes on it.

Kinich is always one step ahead when danger approaches, he keeps his word on protecting y/n, and up until now not a single scratch land on her baby skin. Their current relationship is more bodyguard and client-like.

Still, there's no denying from Kinich that; he often feels he's taking care of a sibling, having to feed, care, educate, and burn y/n's flaming energy.

Never in his experience did he anticipate to babysit a young kid, when he himself is a solitary hunter- semi solitary

A day feels like 2 with y/n by his side, as though they had been together for days; they had traveled miles far from the tribes, the land was undeveloped, no human interference, no manmade structures but tall Rocky Mountains, ocean of grass flourish with plants, animals roam free without care like paradise, water as clear as a mirror reflecting the sky.

Regardless of the magnificent scenery, the landscape's beauty displays a sense of loneliness. there is not a single Saurian in sight, not even their roars travel around the air, just dead silence with leaves rustling against the smooth wind, stationed birds singing, and small animals that roam with ease, fresh fruits and berry grow unconditionally.

So gentle yet lonesome...

On the upside, Kinich doesn't need to worry about enemies, he admires the landscape, so does Ajaw; talking big on how he will make this all his and what to build. Kinich peeks his down to see y/n's reaction, to his surprise; he shows not excitement but an impassive semblance conceals with unobtrusive somber.

y/n feels he's being stare at and look up at Kinich who turn away just in time, he who invariably looks full of vigor and cheerful suddenly takes a 180 turn makes Kinich wonder why, is he tired? Hungry? Bored perhaps?

The Hunter swimming with questions gets disrupt by a gentle tug, y/n tugging his jacket trying to acquire his attention, Kinich hummed and knee down to hear what's up.

"Cave" Kinich follow her finger to find a cave up ahead. Upon reaching, he inspects the cave and concludes this is where they will spend their night.

"mm, we will set up camp here, let's set up a camp fire"

"y/n! Fish!" y/n trying to express what on her mind along with body language.

"you want to fish?" y/n nods violently, he wants to help.

"I don't see any rivers nearby"

"Know, where!" the kid jumping from excitement as if he wanted Kinich to ask. y/n immediately took off to the location without Kinich's approval.
