||3rd Person POV||
The Couple after eating their meal; strolled. In the large fields. The soft grass, crunching beneath their feet. The sun was about to set but the couple could care less.
They soon found a spot beneath a massive cherry blossom tree, the blossoms slowly falling down on them creating a beautiful for them both.
Rengoku made the first move, getting closer to Giyuu. Pulling her by the waist leading her into a soft yet rough kiss.
After the kiss broke, the couple just sat by each other enjoying each other's company. Giyuu placed her head on Rengoku's shoulder talking about her day.
While Rengoku weaved a flower crown with his long slender fingers. Still keeping his on Giyuu while he carefully bended the long stems of the flowers.
Nodding along the way, after Giyuu was done talking about her day. Rengoku placed the flower crown on the inky black haired. Giyuu's eyes sparkled, smiling a little as a red tint spread over her cheeks.
Rengoku chuckled, pulling her in an embrace. It was so peaceful and romantic, what could go wrong?
Little did the couple know, the sun had already gone down. Which meant the demons would start attacking now. But neither of the couple had noticed that.
Rustling came from behind the bushes. Uppermoon 1 came out, but hadn't noticed the couple since it was dark.
Kokushibo would regularly take walks in this large field to calm himself and meditate. In the calmness of the cold breeze and quietness.
He was about to go to his spot, under the large cherry blossom until he saw that his spot was already taken by someone.
The couple hurriedly stood up, taking out their blades as Kokushibo did the same. Kokushibo realised that Rengoku was protecting Giyuu, that was when Kokushibo had realised that the female was the flame hashira's weakness.
Instead of going for the male he went for the female. He was too quick for Giyuu, so she didn't have time to move out of the way. Blood dripped down from her mouth then on the bright green grass, staining them with the crimson colour.
Rengoku's eyes widened as he saw Kokushibo's katana piercing right through Giyuu's heart and coming out from her back.
Kokushibo twisted his blade and took out his blade in a swift motion, her blood splattering everywhere.
Giyuu fell down on her knees, covering her wound with her hand as she coughed up more blood. Rengoku couldn't help her as uppermoon 2 had appeared as well.
Since he had come out of nowhere Rengoku didn't have time to run over to his beloved. He was too busy fighting Akaza to go over to Giyuu.
He wanted to but he couldn't; he could only pray that she would be fine. If he died it didn't matter but she can't die no matter what. Giyuu still has a life ahead of her. Rengoku vowed if Giyuu died then Rengoku would too follow her to death.
Kokushibo, stabbed her again. His face was now covered in the Water Hashira's blood. Pulling out his sword again but went for her neck this time. He sliced her head off in a swift move. Tears fell down Giyuu's face as her head was now separated from her body.
Her head fell down, then soon her body too. Her blood spilled everywhere, her once green haori was now red because of the blood. Giyuu's eyes had soon closed, indicating that she was now gone.
Rengoku, had been too busy fighting Akaza. Akaza had pierced him through his stomach. Rengoku coughed up more blood as he tried moving towards Giyuu's decapitated head. He picked up her head and embraced it tightly while fat tears went down his cheeks.
