Mo Tong completed the challenges the Qin family had given him. In China it is traditional to make the groom do challenges given by the bride's family to see if he's worthy for their daughter or not. If the groom managed to complete the challenges the bride's family would give him hints on where the bride's shoes might be.

He searched everywhere in the medium sized mansion, his dark purple eyes glancing at every piece of dark wooded furniture, decorations, the large flour flower pots, under the guest beds, at the large wooden beams which were on the ceiling.

Mo Tong couldn't find inside the mansion anywhere so he decided to head outside; to the massive garden. Filled with Plum blossoms, Lotuses, Orchids, Azalea, bamboo shoots, Devilwood, Cherry Blossoms, Jasmines, Chrysanthemum, Magnolia.

Mo Tong couldn't help but notice that these flowers were the elder sister's and younger sister's beloved types of flowers. He had noticed the flower patterns on the girls' robes which resembled the ones in the garden. He walked on the rock path, in the garden; eyeing each and every flower. With keen eyes. Crushing the rocks, under the thick soles of his shoes.

He stopped in his tracks, turning his head towards the pot which was an eye sore; if anyone would lay their eyes on it.  He stepped closer to the brown cracked pot; the dark soil spilling out from the cracks, his long black hair blew in the wind as he knelt down to take a glance at what the hideous pot was growing.

His dark eyes couldn't help but widen at the pearly white Peonies growing out of the cracked pot. They were more beautiful than others in the garden, which were taken care of regularly with care by the servants.

The white petals glowed under the moon; making them look more glorious than the other flowers. The other flowers were gorgeous no doubt but this flower just made him feel something different.. Mo Tong sighed, getting up from kneeling and brushing off his red robes which were covered in white dust caused by the small white rocks; around the cracked pot.

He was about to leave before he had realised something sparkling under the moonlight, it was her shoes! They were red with golden embroidery Peonies, at that moment he knew. Whose Peonies those were. No way, people will make their precious daughter marry a tyrant like him.

After the Qin family had accepted his request, Mo Tong made his way over to their mansion.  In a carriage, with many of his guards following behind the royal carriage. Mo Tong's sister sat next to him in the carriage, gazing out of the carriage while sighing.

Mo Beiye was Mo Tong's beloved older sister, she was 4 years older than him. Who he loved dearly, when his parents would mistreat him; she would be the first one to stand up for him even if it meant getting slapped or harshly punished.

Even when their parents made him kneel, she would kneel with him. Doing his punishment with him, until her knees were red like Mo Tong. He would tell her to not do his punishment with him but she would still do it.

After their punishment she would make him food and take care of his injuries not caring about hers.  This would happen regularly, day to day. So one day their parents decided to make Mo Beiye forcefully marry one of their mother's brothers. When Mo Tong heard this, he went on a rampage killing anyone around him.

Mo Tong slowly walked over to his parents' room, his eyes red from rage and his bloody sword covered in blood followed behind him. The point of his sword was on the ground making a screeching sound and leaving behind a trail of blood.

When  he slammed open the door, his parents started yelling at him on why he did that but when they saw him holding a sword covered in blood, they knelt and pretended to beg for their lives. Mo Tong saw through the act and a swift move of his sword made the two  people in front of him decapitated. The two heads rolled on the ground causing the wooden floors to be stained with blood.
