"I don't even know why you wanna go to my house. There's nothing to do, I don't even have a TV." Camora complained. "You have paper and pencils, at least." Yinnie reasoned. "You really wanna draw together? Don't we already do that every day in art class?" "So what? Now I get to draw with you twice in one day!" Yinnie flung both her arms up and cheered "Yayyyy!!" Camora laughed it off but she still felt kind of bad, not only was there hardly anything to do at her house, but her mom was going to be home. Camora never wanted the two to meet but unfortunately Yinnie asked to see her house, and she had a hard time saying no to her. Camora just hoped her mom wouldn't make it weird. "I get to meet your mom too, right?" Yinnie asked after a short moment of silence, it's almost like she reads Camora's mind sometimes. "Uh, yeah but... My mom is kind of insane, I know I haven't talked about her much but she's... I don't know, nevermind." Yinnie's smile slowly dropped, "Hey..." she tried to sound... supportive? Maybe slightly concerned? A little of both? "I'm sorry if your mom is hard to deal with. I know this sounds silly, and you definitely have it a lot worse than me, but sometimes my parents are a little hard to deal with too. Just a little, definitely not as much as your mom, just a tiny bit-" "You don't have to say that." Camora interrupted, something she didn't usually do, but she felt she had to this time. "You don't have to compare yourself to me. We've both been through shit, hell, we're still going through shit! It doesn't matter how bad the shit is, it's still shit, and you don't deserve it." Camora wasn't sure she was making any sense. Yinnie smiled anyway, "I guess you're right." she said, "Who knew you were such a poet." Camora just giggled at that. Camora remembers this conversation better than she remembers the time she spent with Yinnie once they got to her house. But she does remember her mom insisting on leaving the door open while the two were inside her room, Yinnie didn't agrue, she just... understood. They drew for a bit and then went to watch a movie on Camora's mom's laptop. Yinnie insisted on watching Princess and the Frog so they pirated it. Camora recalled her admitting it was probably her favourite movie, "I don't know why, it just reminds me of being a kid again." Camora didn't need her to explain though, she got it. It's funny how they look like opposites when they couldn't possibly be more alike.
