Angry hugs (sfw. angst later in the story)

Nightmare

Goob: "Of course I know!"

Shrimpo: "then could you tell me...?"

Goob: "How about a hug?"

Shrimpo: "NO!"

Goob: "that's the only thing I know other than sleeping pills."

Shrimpo: "FINE...! you can hug me..."

Goob picks Shrimpo off the ground. He happily snuggles up to shrimpo. His red tail wagging with joy.

Shrimpo: "this is kind of nice..."

Goob: "I know...isn't it comfortable?"

Shrimpo: "fine... I admit it... i like when you're around... but don't take it too far...!"

Goob try's to put Shrimpo down. But he won't budge.

Shrimpo: "STOP TRYING TO PUT ME DOWN!!!"

Goob: "okay grumpy!"

Goob says and giggles. He walks back to his bed with Shrimpo and lays down. Holding the shrimp. By the time Goobs in bed. Shrimpo is already deep asleep. Goob eventually falls asleep with Shrimpo.

(The next day)

Scraps P.O.V

I woke up and got ready for the day. Like normal, I put on my dress. And went to check on Goob.

I saw Goob and that new guy in bed. What are they doing? And why is the new guy even with my brother?

He's never been nice to anyone at all! I can't see why Goob still gives him a chance! He's just been a pain for everyone! I need to get Goob away from him soon! Or else the new guy will just hurt him and give him trust issues!

My brother is awesome and kind. I can't let this happen to him!

Goob P.O.V

Scraps is being very over protective. This isn't her usual self.

Goob gets up from bed. Shrimpo deep in sleep. He goes to the lobby to get some breakfast. He sees Scraps. He's been waiting to ask her something. This was the right time.

Goob: "hey scraps..?"

Scraps: "yeah?"

Goob: "why have you been so... protective lately?"

Scraps: "oh... I've just been worried... but it's fine...!"

Scraps said nervously. Goob knew something was wrong.

Goob: "what are you keeping from me...!?"

Scraps: "nothing!"

Goob: "I know you're keeping something from me!"
