This story is an adaptation based on the television series inspired by the real-life case of the Menendez brothers. this is solely a work of fiction and tho it does reference the actual events surrounding the case. This is based off the show "monsters." The portrayal of the characters, including my original character, Alexandrea, and the actors' portrayal, such as Cooper Koch as Erik and Nicholas Chavez as Lyle, is strictly fictional. There is no intention to spread misinformation or support any injustice as Ryan Murphy did.

While the real-life events surrounding Erik and Lyle are not directly depicted in this narrative, it is crucial to understand that the themes of physical, mental, and sexual abuse will be explored. My main character will undergo these hardships within the storyline. It should be made clear that this story does not romanticize or trivialize the traumatic experiences of real individuals. The OC I've created faces various forms of abuse as well, and I don't glorify the harmful situations they find themselves in. This story highlights real issues and is not meant to be a romanticized account of their experiences The narrative will address these issues in a frank and honest manner, prioritizing awareness and understanding rather than perpetuating harmful stereotypes or idealizing sexual abuse. It is crucial to approach this subject matter with sensitivity and respect, avoiding any kind of glorification or romanticization.

I wrote this story to raise awareness especially in reference to the case of Erik and Lyle. This story, inspired by the harrowing circumstances of the Menendez brothers' case, aims to shed light on the experiences of victims of abuse. It is crucial to emphasize that this story does not contain any sexually explicit content. In fact, it would be insensitive and inappropriate to romanticize or sexualize such a grave topic. The focus of this narrative is solely on the actors Nicholas Chavez and Cooper Koch as they portray Erik and Lyle in the story. I must say this, I don't want to see anyone sexualizing these sweet boys. It is both disrespectful and irresponsible to engage in actions as I see daily people commenting on them in such ways and saying since the show came out there's is now a perfect Halloween costume, "dress up as the menendez brothers!") as some have suggested on TikTok. This is incredible insensitive and in very bad taste. Please educate urself if you are not. And do not say anything against those two sweet boys if you are NOT EDUCATED.
