Hey, just a quick note—I don't have an update for you today, and unfortunately, there won't be one. I'm really sorry about that. I visited the doctor, and it turns out I have very low blood sugar and diabetes. It's something that runs in my family, but I'm still pretty young, so it was a bit of a surprise lol. I'm not feeling my best right now, still kind of shaky, so I won't be able to post a chapter tonight. Hopefully you can understand and thank you for your understanding :)

I do want to let you know that I already have the next few chapters planned out! However, I'd love to hear any ideas you might have for the story. (Just no direct smut requests, please!)

I want to clarify that while there won't be any explicit smut in future chapters, I do plan to include sweet, intimate moments between Lyle and Alexandra to deepen their relationship—but nothing detailed. This story, and their relationship, is about much more than that! This story focuses on emotional bonding and the complexities of trauma bonding, especially around experiences of abuse. Their relationship is about healing, trust, and growth, rather than physical intimacy.
