It was one rainy night. Walang tigil ang buhos ng ulan — animo'y nakikidalamhati ito para sa isang tao.
Despite the unfriendly weather, there were two people still out in an alley. One could tell they were about to settle an important matter.
Without hesitation, Baron shoved his younger brother. Bakas sa mukha nito ang labis na galit at pagkamuhi. Napasandal na lang sa pader si Blaine dahil hindi niya kinaya ang biglaang puwersa mula sa nakakatandang kapatid.
"You're a disgrace to our family!!!" Furious, Baron grabbed Blaine by the younger's shirt.
"Kuya, please — Tama na..." Takot na takot man, sinubukan ni Blaine na patigilin ang kapatid.
"Tama na? Eh kung tumigil ka kaya sa pagiging salot mong bakla ka?!!" The older violently shook the younger.
"S-Sorry, Kuya. Pero hindi ko talaga kaya." Tuluyan nang tumulo ang mga luha ni Blaine kasabay ng walang tigil na pagbuhos ng ulan.
Baron tightened his grip and gave his younger brother an intimidating glare. "Hindi mo kaya? O ayaw mo lang talaga?"
"S-Sinubukan ko naman eh... But it didn't work."
"You just didn't try harder!!!" Puno ng poot at galit na bulalas ng nakakatanda bago nito binitawan ang nakakabata.
"Kuya, I can't change who I am..." Hope had abandoned Blaine.
"F*ck you! I had enough of that!"
"But it's the tru-" Out of patience, Baron punched his brother square in the gut. As expected, Blaine didn't take it well. He fell on his knees while coughing.
"Pasalamat ka kapatid pa ang tingin ko sa'yo ngayon. Kundi, masahol pa diyan ang inabot mo sa'kin.." Upon hearing that, Blaine slowly looked up to his livid brother.
"So man up! Or else forget you even have a brother." Tahasang pagbabanta ni Baron bago tuluyang lumakad palayo sa kapatid.
Still kneeling on the floor, Blaine passively watched his brother walking away. He stayed there a little longer while staring at the emptiness Baron left, unwary of the rain that continuously damped him.
