Cole laid back with his eyes relaxed eyes as he listened to his mom speaking. Jay meanwhile looks down at all the symbols Evee had placed down. She was also pointing to them as Lily spoke.

“Terian”

“Flarian”

“Glarcian”

“Fulgerian”

Jay's eyes squinched. “Therian?”

Evee glances at him, but lowers her head back at the cards. “Sorta, but these are the base elementals, I can see how you can confuse the words.”

Jay's eyes analyzed the women.

(Does she know what a therian is… .wait, maybe I can ask about my phantoms, she did mention she was a doctor, and me being born a wolf might have issues)

Jay gets to his paws and walks through the cards. Evee looks at him. “Do you… .Do you know anything about phantoms?” His ear tilts and she eyes her scattered cards.

“Yes, why do you ask?”

Lily glances over and Cole sits up. “He feels them all the time.”

Jay nods, looking back at Evee. She remained frozen solid and Jay felt his ears drop.

(No answer… .Why do I try?)

“… .That is a common symptom of being in close proximity to Jade, when did you feel these phantoms start, and when did they stop?” Jay's head lifts at her voice, and Cole smiles.

(Maybe that can help him.)

“I erm… .My first time feeling them was… .I don't know how old I was but I was with my Ma and she was cooking, and suddenly I felt like there's swaying behind me and I cried because I couldn't find it… .But my Ma also said something about “Again.” so it could have been earlier.”

Cole eyes his friend as his mother stands up.

“That's… .interesting, have they stopped?” Evee questions and Jay shook his head.

“I'm in wolf form… .Oh , I also have moments where I feel them in other places, like my hands dropping things.” Jay chuckled like this wasn't at all concerning to the fully grown lycans in front of them. Lily places her hand on Jay's head, and lightly pets his head.

“Evee. samas huais est?” She asked through her clenched teeth. Evee nods.

Cole glances at their expressions of concern, and then watches as Mizuki appears from behind his mother.

“Oxvel.”

Jay lets out a small whine from having the hand being taken away, but Cole comes up to him. “Did you see their faces?”

Jay looks up. “Erm… .Ye… .yeah, guess Jade is to blame.” Jay wags his tail.

“I thought she was going to tell me, that me being a mistake caused that, yay! That's one thing I can be certain of.”

Cole's eyes falter. “Jay, I think they are worried.”

“Nah, she said it was jade, whatever that is.” Jay strides to the group and Cole shakes his head as he soon follows.

Mizuki leaves the group. “Wait, we're not going to that mediation room?” Cole asks with a lifted brow towards Jay.

“She said she will handle the connection to the water wolf, but that we need to talk to Acacia.” Evee starts heading to the doorway. Lily follows, keeping her eyes on the two pups. She steps down the steps, and looks out into a direction with the scent of pine and moss.
