After a long travel Hound's eyes widened, she shook Ghost and Cece awake. "Yeah?" Ghost groaned opening his eyes. Hound pointed to the distance, there was land ahead, covered in jungle with tall trees, so tall they towered taller than old skyscrapers. "We're close!"

The frog beast stopped at the beach. Reaching it's destination. The 3 and the dogs jumped off. Cece hugged the frog. "We'll be back soon," Hound told the beast. "We'll call you when we need you again." She held a conch in her hand putting it in her bag for protection.

"Thank you!" Cece told the beast happily. Waving goodbye as the frog disappeared. Hound turned to the dogs watching them sniff around. It was blisteringly hot, especially after coming from the snow. Hound took off her heavy clothes leaving herself in a tank-top and long pants. Ghost did the same taking off a few layers until he was in a T-shirt. Cece took off her coat and ran around in the sea water.

Hound held Ghost's shoulder. "The centipede is here, we have to keep our footsteps soft," she explained. "Stay on the roots and rocks will probably be our best hopes here."

Ghost nodded and turned to the jungle, Hound whistled to the dogs to call their attention. Cece was picked up by Ghost and put onto his shoulders. Hound went forward first with Diana by her side, jumping on some roots of a tree to keep vibrations in the ground low, Ghost followed with Cece and Luna at the back, he instructed where they needed to go holding a compass and his gun. Hound kept her hand on her pocket where she kept her herbs. "So how do you cast spells?" Ghost asked, the question had obviously been on his mind for a while.

Hound moved around a trees on some roots before jumping to another tree close by as she thought of an answer. "I don't know," she answered.

Ghost followed to where she jumped. "What do you mean?" He asked, totally confused.

Hound shrugged. "I just... my early spells Glinda taught me, then it's just... like a feeling."

"Glinda..." Ghost murmured, he looked guilty. And Hound stopped at looked to him.

"What?" She asked frustrated. "What are you hiding?" This secrecy was way too old at this point.

Ghost held his breath. Cece looked up, she looked sad. "He's hiding it from you because he's scared of you," she snitched.

"Hiding something?" Hound stared at Ghost, she changed her tune again, she was going to strangle him and feed him to the beast as a distraction.

Ghost looked uncomfortable. "Listen, I was just worried you'd get angry and—" A loud rumble cut them off. They looked around rapidly. "Earthquake?"

"It's the beast!" Hound scolded him panicked. She saw the ground before them break open and a giant centipede crawl out sniffing around.

"Kids! Up here!" Someone called, Hound looked up finding rope ladder fall down for them. Hound looked to the dogs as Ghost helped Cece up before climbing up himself.

"Hound!" Ghost yelled for her.

Hound looked to him. "Go!" She yelled running to aim for a hiding spot beneath the roots of a tree taking the dogs with her. Ghost looked frustrated and continued to climb up. Hound wasn't about to abandon her dogs to one of these beasts.

The centipede thrashing trying to catch Hound ended up almost catching one of the dogs which Hound pulled the dog away getting her arm stuck in it's pincers Hound pulled away and continued to hide as it went searching in the dirt's vibrations for anything. Hound kept the dogs still as her arm began to swell. The centipede went back down into the ground and went a while away to catch a wild animal, Hound heard its screams.
