The Gods Punishment

Chapter 8

Hound reached the temple but she kept the rain up as much as she could for the other two, the dogs perked their head up for something as she sat down right out front of the doors. Hound looked around but couldn't see anything in the rain. She called out but nothing happened, then Luna went running. "Luna!" She called for the dog, she ran after her with Diana at her side when she reached Luna she relaxed, she was sniffing at something in the bark of a tree. "Luna, don't run off like—"

In moments the centipede burst out of the ground and swallowed Luna whole. Hound stared in shock for a moment before screaming in terror. She watched the centipede crawl around the trees as Hound stood still in shock and Diana started to bark at the centipede calling it over, it stood on it's hundreds of legs. Screeching out, just as it prepared to attacked Hound screamed back in anger and grabbed its pincers by the base when it attacked, jumping on it's head pulling its antenna, the centipede yanked its head back screeching loudly, almost deafening Hound as Diana ran biting the centipedes legs. "Give me back my dog!" Hound screamed pulling the antenna again. The centipede scuttled back into its hole with Hound still on it, leaving Diana behind.

Hound pulled again, punching and clawing the centipede, she reached into her bag pulling out her dust trying to preform her boils spell but the centipedes armour was too strong. Hound growled and still while on the centipede as it rapidly went down more and more into the ground she held onto it's scales and attempted to rip them off. The centipede screamed again. "Hurts doesn't it?" Hound taunted as the centipede turned at started going up moving faster to knock Hound off. 

But Hound fury in her eyes wasn't letting it off so easy, as soon as they reached the surface Hound pulled its antenna again yanking it, and yanking it so hard she pulled it off. The centipede screeched in pain thrashing back and forth. Hound undeterred hung off the second antenna to pick up a branch knocked out the tree by the beast and using all her might stabbed it into the creatures eye. The beast thrashed worse but Hound wasn't done, oh no she wasn't done. 

Hound pulled the branch from the creatures eye letting out a spray of purple insect blood and fitted it under the centipede's back scales and tore the scale from it's body, revealing it's body underneath, Hound grabbed out her spices and cast her boils spell making the beast screech again, Hound still was not done, she was going to make this beast suffer a long death. She held the scale ripped from its body and fitted it beneath another and she started digging it under, popping the scale out where Hound ripped that one out too. She dug her boots into the beast's flesh and started wrestling with the head as it jumped, thrashed, fought for its life. "You were dead as soon as you hurt my dog!" She screamed in anger and frustration. She wrapped the antenna around the beast's neck, tightening it, stopping the beast from screeching anymore.

She pulled at the beast's second antenna, using her might she pulled this one out too, she wrapped the second ripped antenna around it's pincers stopping the beast from using them, they would make mighty fine swords when she pulled them out, especially with their venom. She pulled one of the lost scales of the beast and lined it up all while the beast thrashed and plunged it right beneath its eye socket, popping the eye out of the beast's face, letting out another spray of purple blood. Now blind the beast could do nothing but screech and thrash around but all this torture was just the beginning, you never, ever, mess with Hound's dogs and get away with it. She grabbed the beast's pincers and started to twist and yank, she ripped on from the beast and hit it with it's own venom as she ripped the second out.

Ghost and Cece arrived at the temple, they were shocked to find Diana and Hound's pack. Ghost knelt down to Diana. "Where is she girl?" Ghost asked panicked. Diana just stopped sniffing Ghost and Cece. Cece hugged Diana crying. She had been so worried. Ghost looked at the temple grabbing his gun. He stood up as Cece hugged Diana. "Hound must be inside, I'm going in." He pushed open the door going inside.
