RAINY SEASON, BLURTED CONFESSIONS, AND TWO WARM CUPS OF COCOA

It's cold outside, with the pitter-patter sound of the rains and thunderstorms enveloping me with fear as I engulfed myself with warm hugs.

The sky's so gloomy, like my heart thumping and roaring. I don't know this feeling I'm into lately,  I felt like someone's trying to pull me into a warm embrace as I let myself plug in with the moment as I saw myself falling down on the mattress.

"Hush now my love," You whispered through my ear. I only hummed to your voice as I fell asleep into your arms.

I woke up to the sound of clinking pots and pans as you were trying to cook something you've recently found on the internet. I smiled at the thought of you trying to make me feel impressed by your cooking skills.

"So, you were about to cook something for me?" I asked, with eyebrows raised as high as possible. You smiled slyly at my question. You were so flustered as hell the moment I stepped in and interrogated you with such silly remarks I've made.

"Y-yeah. I was--" I cut you off.

"You were trying to impress me with your cooking skills. I know." I finished your sentence as you nodded shyly.

Wow. Is this your way of saying, "I like you, please like me back?"

Are you putting your own confession into action words this time?

Wow, I guess I'm lucky to have you as my better half.

Joon, you don't have to. Loving you is enough.

You mean the whole world to me darling, don't you dare think twice and contemplate again this time around.

I guess spending the whole time with you in this rainy season wasn't so bad after all.
