"Cassie Noel Birlem!" she woke up to her mother yelling her name. "Why did you get home so late! You told me 12 and it was after 3 am!" She screamed at her daughter.
"Good morning to you too." she said harshly to her mom. "I was at a party, and I had to take Seth home."
"Seth? Whose Seth? Like the cohen kid?" she questioned. "Yes"
"You hang out with Seth Cohen?" She repeated kinda confused. "Yea mom. Why is that so confusing? I hung out with a guy?" She said annoyed.
Lilian Birlem, her mom, stormed out of her room at the attitude her daughter gave her.
Cassie laid back in her bed and groaned. She finally decided to get out of bed for real this time.
Cassie turned her shower on and got in. Cassie loved Sunday's she got to take as long as a shower as she wanted without the rush of getting ready for school.
She also hated Sunday's though. It meant she had school tomorrow. She kinda got excited though at the thought of who she'd be able to see.
If you thought she was going to be excited to see Seth Cohen tomorrow, you were wrong. At least thats what she told herself. She repeated in her mind that she was excited to see her best friends.
Cassie put on a mini skirt and cute tanktop and headed out.
She didnt say bye to her mom because why would her mom care she always thought and she was right 90 percent of the time. Her mom or dad wouldn't call or text the only time they ever get mad is when shes a little past curfew. Which is hardly ever so like give her a break?
Cassie met up with her best friend Marissa and went out to the mall. Marissa wasn't into shopping as much as Cassie was but she did it for her best friend.
"Is this cute? Or is this one" she asked Marissa holding up a blue and pink too. "Okay wait maybe both!" she said as Marissa giggled. "The pink is so cute definitely that one, but the blue one is also cute" she complimented her friend.
The two girls went in and out of multiple stores swiping Cassie's dad's card on whatever they wanted.
Cassie wasn't rich but she definitely had money. She wasn't that close with her parents so money was basically their love. Cassie pretended it didn't affect her too badly but Marissa could see through it. She could see through her best friend all the time.
Everyone who knew Marissa knew Cassie and anyone who knew Cassie knew Marissa. It was always them. They swore that nothing would ever come between them.
"Coop promise me that theres never gonna be any secrets between us?" Cassie asked her best friend.
"I would never keep anything from you," she said with a warm smile as they walked into their favorite restaurant for late lunch.
Marissa ordered a chicken sandwich with a fruit bowl and Cassie ordered a ceaser salad with some frys on the side.
"We've been friends for so long Cas, like our whole life. Thats so crazy to me." Marissa brought up out of no where.
"I know we've been through everything together like our first boyfriends and heartbreaks together. Speaking of boyfriends whats going on with you and Luke?" she asked her.
"I really dont know." Marissa answered and they finished eating.
Marissa and Cassie both went to their separate houses and got ready for the next day.
Cassie hated going home alone after a day with her friends. She seemed so alone and bored. Marissa was the only friend she needed, but sometimes she just needed someone to be there.
Like physically there, of course Marissa could be there but she needed someone she could share everything with. Someone who would get her.
Every time she thought of someone like this is never had a specific face to match to what she needed, except for now. She thought of Seth Cohen.
Weird though Seth Cohen couldn't possibly understand what goes through Cassie Birlem mind.
sorry for the short chapter its just a filler until next!
