Huai en ordered his servants to dragged Xiaobao in his room , he chained the legs of Xiaobao and locked him he went outside to attend his customers

Majesty is there any problem? King sui asked

Huai en said , he dined with the king and the princess gave them gifts and went to the kingdom of princess Xue and spend a day with her and returned the next day

He went around meeting new people, his councillor and people around his kingdom, but then he remembered Xiaobao

He must have learnt his lesson huai en smirked

He went to Xiaobao's room and was shocked to see him in the same position he left yesterday, he didn't move at all , he rushed to him and checked his heartbeat it was faint, he picked up Xiaobao and put him on his bed he called his servants

Wasn't anyone who check on him?

They lied they came to Xiaobao's room and tried to touch him but due to fear of Huai en they left him and ignored him

He ordered the doctor and the doctor came in a few minutes, he checked Xiaobao and dressed his wounds , the doctor was disgusted with his wounds

Majesty the person who beat him is an animal , he doesn't deserve to be called as a human , seeing his condition i pity the people around him

Huai en was embarassed hearing the stuffs about himself, the doctor cursed his abuser

Huai en was quiet and the doctor gave him a few medicines

I've already applied medicine to his wound and bandaged them , with proper rest and care he would be fine soon , take care of him

Huai en agreed and the doctor left ,he looked at the face of Xiaobao and sat near him

This was the man whom I thought of marrying I wanted to make him mine and take care of him I wanted to do everything for him but he betrayed me but why does it feel so wrong now

Am I doing it wrong isn't he the one guilty?

Huai en looked at the innocent face of Xiaobao he covered Xiaobao in a warm blanket and slept hugging him

Next day Huai En changed his clothes and dressed him in comfy clothes, he checked his temperature and it was already down ,he was glad that Xiaobao was out of fever now

He picked up Xiaobao and slowly put him on a couch in the balcony where the sunlight was direct

He kept him for sometime and again took him back, he suspended all his duties and took care of the whole day

At afternoon Huai en was talking to his noble men and Xiaobao Slowly opened his eyes , huai en looked at Xiaobao and checked his forehead

Xiaobao you are awake ;

Xiaobao was too scared to look at Huai en , Huai En noticed this and was feeling guilty

Leave everyone now

Everyone's left them as they heard Huai En's order

Now Xiaobao was left alone in Huai En's room with Huai en and he was scared for his life , Huai en tried to touch him but Xiaobao moved away

I'm not talking to you about that let's eat something and then we'll talk okay ?

Huai en asked and Xiaobao was too stunned to speak anything

Huai en ordered his servants to give them a variety of food Xiaobao was reluctant to eat with huai en so he waited for huai en till he eat but Huai En looked at him

Aren't you eating anything ?

Xiaobao shook his head

I'm not hungry I'll eat after you eat

He lied but his stomach growled , Xiaobao was embarassed huai en laughed and pinched his stomach, he took a bowl of soup and took a spoonful of it near his lips

Drink he ordered

Xiaobao blinked his eyes but Huai En showed him his eyes and he drank it quickly Huai en made him drunk the soup for sometime and started giving him solids

After sometime Xiaobao was eating by his own he didn't feel shy anymore and ate more

Huai en was happy to see him eating the food and after eating he gave Xiaobao his medicines, Xiaobao was making faces because the medicine was too bitter

If you don't drink this how can you be fine ? Eat up na everything

Huai en said and caresses his hair , Xiaobao ate everything obediently and after that Huai en made him sleep on the bed

I can I can sleep in my room

No you won't go anywhere you'll sleep here with me

Xiaobao agreed to it and Huai En slept beside him, he remove the cloth Xiaobao was wearing and touched his torso , kow Xiaobao knew why he let him sleep here to take advantage of him and forced him when he's in this painful condition, tears came out of his eyes

But Huai En kissed on his wounds slowly and caressed his hair

Don't cry i promise I'll never hit you again

No one will ever hit you again okay

He dresses up Xiaobao and pulled him into a tight hug

Sleep now tomorrow we'll go out for a walk

Xiaobao was feeling happy since Huai en didn't hurt him anymore it was opposite to his father who would scold and abuse him even after getting hurt he has gone unconscious many times after his father beat him but not once did his father take care of him

He knew it was for a short period of time and Huai En would hurt him the very next moment but he wanted to be in peace atleast for now he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep
