Chapter 7 - Humiliation

Xiaobao came to his room after getting hit by the man , it was not the first time that he got beaten his father beat him almost everyday,he removed his clothes and dressed his wounds himself and laid on the bed slowly

Huai En has changed a lot ,he doesn't even believe me but I'm also a victim in this i must tell him everything

He didn't know when he got sleepy and fell asleep

Huai En entered Xiaobao's room and saw he was sleeping peacefully, he didn't try to wake him up and removed his cloak and applied some medicine on his wounds

He even threw the man who beat Xiaobao into a coffin and burried him alive without anyone's knowledge

If anyone hurts you other than me , I'll kill them

He whispered to Xiaobao and left

Time skip , Xiaobao woke up and it was next morning, he hasn't eaten anything since a day and now he was hungry, he quickly took a bath and went outside to get some food ,he looked Huai En who was busy

He got to the servants quarter and asked them for food ,he picked up a plate and asked them food

What are you doing here ? The man asked

I want some food , isn't this the quarter for servants

It's but it's not for traitors like you

The man said and threw the plate away ,Huai En noticed this and came towards them and all of them bowed him except Xiaobao

Hey don't you know you should now to the king

The guard said and they were about to hit Xiaobao but Huai En stopped him

It's alright he doesn't need to ,he lacks manner and I don't want his bow, now tell me why are you all making a fuss?

Lord , he's insisting on asking food but we won't have it to a traitor

Xiaobao looked at Huai En for help but Huai En wanted to humiliate Xiaobao

That's true there's no food for you in this palace we're offering you a stay but for basic necessities you've to do it on your own

Then how will I eat ?

Xiaobao asked feeling helpless

By begging  Huai En said laughing

Go beg and see if anyone agreed to give you food

Xiaobao was so helpless he wanted to die, Huai En is humiliating him in public

You can beg outside the palace the guard said laughing as he threw a old plate and Xiaobao picked it up, he was very hungry and he knew he wouldn't get anything if he didn't do this so he went to nearby house

Give me food , please he said but the man threw water on him

Your father killed my son I'm not giving you food

He went to another house and he was drove away

Give me food ,

Your father took away all out property get out

You hit my son I'll not help you

You threw my husband in jail I'm not giving you anything A woman said and pushed Xiaobao

Xiaobao was thrown away by veryone and Huai En was disgusted more with him that no one is willing to help him ,the father and son are cruel he thought, He was very satisfied with the Humiliation Xiaobao was going through

But then a small boy walked towards Xiaobao and gave him rice and some potatoes and bread

Brother ,no need to beg you can take from us

He said and hugged Xiaobao, Huai En was angry but he was a little boy so he didn't do anything

Brother come inside, ma has prepared food let's eat

He said holding Xiaobao's hand and took him to their house , Xiaobao wiped his tears ans followed him while Huai En was fuming in anger

He called for someone

Fix my engagement date tomorrow

Yes lord

The man bowed and went away and Huai En was angry at Xiaobao for going to the house

Wait Xiaobao tomorrow I'll Humiliate you so much and I'll marry the princess

He promised himself and then he turned away and left

Xiaobao was shaking and crying in the boy's house and the boy put a blanket on Xiaobao,and his mother Mali came towards him, Xiaobao folded his hand and thanks her

Thank you mam for giving me food

Oh don't mention it son ,you saved me and my son from my evil husband and gave us a shelter to live in can't I do all this for you

She said and Xiaobao wiped his tears as the little boy came and gave him a sweet potato

Brother, I'm lile, You saved my life and sent me to school and I'll save you from that wicked king

But he's bullying and hurting you, I'm going to hit him with my arrow
The boy was determined to hit Huai En and Xiaobao stopped him

Okay come kids have some food , Mali said and Xiaobao and him joined to have the food , Xiaobao finally smiled after days when he finally had someone to care but then he remembered about Huai en and his dark tragedy and began to tremble

Xiaobao came back to the palace because he didn't want the mother son to have any problem because of him but as he entered he saw everywhere preparation is going on he didn't know what was happening but then he heard

Lord is getting engaged tomorrow,

Yeah yeah he's getting engaged and everyone is invited

The bride is so pretty and rich

Ofcourse he'll marry a rich princess not some concubine

They said laughing at Xiaobao

Yeah after their marriage what will have to this concubine

Probably he'll be sell off as a slave or he can be a prostitute at the whore house

They laughed and Xiaobao got hurt hearing this ,he ran to his room but then he saw Huai En waiting for him in his room in anger
