Chapter 7: (Author's pov)

Jungkook stepped out of the academy gates in the evening, noticing that the rain was still falling, though much lighter now. He was glad to have an umbrella with him this time. The cobblestone streets shimmered with puddles, and a line of carriages stood waiting outside the academy's entrance, each one covered with cloth curtains decorated with family symbols or names.

He quickly spotted his carriage, a deep purple one, with silver designs showing off his family's name, The Bangtan Sonyeondan. He climbed inside and was just about to close the door when it suddenly swung open again, letting in a cool breeze and some rain.

Jimin: Hey, you didn't think you'd leave without us, did you?

Jimin called out, grinning as he clambered into the carriage. His dark hair was damp, droplets still dripping onto his collar. Taehyung followed close behind, just as soaked, his clothes sticking to him from the rain. Jungkook rolled his eyes but couldn't hide his smile.

Jungkook: Couldn't you guys get your own carriage?

Taehyung laughed, sliding onto the seat across from Jungkook.

Taehyung: Come on, Little brother. It's more fun this way, right?

Jimin gave Jungkook a teasing look as he settled in beside him.

Jimin: And besides, you should be happy your older brothers want to hang out with you.

Jungkook shook his head, smirking.

Jungkook: Right, because I'm sure you two just love my company.

Jimin nudged Jungkook's shoulder.

Jimin: You know you missed us. Who else is going to waste their time on you?

Taehyung nodded in agreement, wringing out his wet sleeves.

Taehyung: Yeah, little brother, we're doing you a favor.

Jungkook crossed his arms, looking out the rain-streaked window.

Jungkook: You're both just here because you got caught in the rain.

Jimin leaned back with a grin.

Jimin: And because your carriage is comfier than ours. It's got those soft seats.

Taehyung leaned forward, raising an eyebrow.

Taehyung: You think he's hiding sweets in here? Maybe that's why he's always so quiet.

Jungkook rolled his eyes again, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.

Jungkook: Very funny, hyung. No sweets. Just you two making noise in my carriage.

Taehyung reached out and playfully ruffled Jungkook's hair, making him duck away.

Taehyung: Ah, come on, don't be like that. We'll be out of your hair soon enough.

Jimin chuckled.

Jimin: Yeah, as soon as we reach home. But until then, you're stuck with us.

Jungkook sighed, leaning back in his seat.

Jungkook: I guess I don't have a choice, do I?

Taehyung grinned, leaning back as well.

Taehyung: Nope, you don't.

The carriage started moving, the sound of the rain tapping against the roof blending with the clatter of the wheels on the cobblestones. As they rolled through the rainy streets, the brothers continued their playful banter. Jimin glanced out the window and then back at Jungkook, there was a mischievous glint in his eye.
