IT WAS A SUNNY DAY WHEN HAYLEY FINALLY DECIDED SHE WAS WELL ENOUGH TO GO TO SCHOOL. Bella wasn't blind, she knew something was up with Hayley - but she didn't push. She knew her twin would tell her eventually what was on her mind. So, Hayley, sat beside Jessica, letting the sun warm her skin, and just tried not to think about what had happened yesterday.

Bella had told her conversation with Jacob when she was at La Push and Hayley gave it a week before Bella would find out the truth. Her sister was persistent, and she would find out the truth if it was last thing she did. That is how she knew without even looking that her sister was looking for Edward.

Jessica sighed, her eyes closed, and head leaned back. "He's not here." Bella looked up at her as she spoke. "Whenever the weather's nice, the Cullens disappear."

The younger Swan twin tilted her head. "They just... ditch?"

"No, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen yank 'em out for hiking and camping and stuff. I tried the idea out on my parents. Not even close." The Stanley girl explained, and Hayley had a feeling that was far from the reason as to why they avoided the sun.

"I'm going to the prom with Eric!" Hayley peeked an eye open at Angela's words, a smile on her face. She was happy for her shy friend. "I just asked him, I took control!"

"Look at you, miss hot stuff." Hayley playful flirted to the shy girl, who just blushed at the brunette's words. "I hear wedding bells."

"Oh, hush Hayley. If anyone is getting married first, it would be you. I feel like Xander may be getting on one knee as soon as graduation hits." At the mention of the blonde, Hayley went silent, and she looked back at the sky.

She hadn't talked to him or any of his siblings since that day. Alice had texted her for a bit but stopped when she realized that Hayley wasn't going to answer any of them. Xander called that morning, but Hayley just let it ring, knowing if she heard his voice, she would be compelled to listen.
