The Contract Wedding , Gone Right

A month later

This is it , here it is the big day , that everyone except us were waiting for .

My father came inside room , I was ready but not really .

" My daughter" he said tearing up .

Really the waterworks?

" Yes " I said with straight face .

I put on my veil properly . I am wearing a white dress .The dress was ethereal, a stunning composition of silk and lace that seemed to float around me like whispers of moonlight. The bodice clung delicately to my figure, with intricate lace patterns woven in, tracing over my shoulders and arms like a secret garden in bloom. It dipped into a subtle, flattering V-neck, hinting at elegance and modesty while allowing just enough skin to suggest a modern grace.

My waist was cinched slightly, accentuating my silhouette without overwhelming her. The lace flowed seamlessly into a voluminous skirt, layers of soft tulle giving it a dream-like, airy quality as if I were walking on clouds. Each layer moved with my steps, catching the light in gentle waves, creating a sense of timelessness in every motion,my dress featured a low, rounded back framed , descending into a delicate backless back . The layered tulle skirt flowed gracefully, forming a dreamy train that trailed behind her, embodying elegance, beauty, and timeless grace.

I went with minimal makeup , but shiny eyes and red lipstick enhanced my face .

I stood up and held my father's hand , as we walked outside the huge aisle .

It was my favourite song that started playing .

That kind of lifted my mood up .

I saw him looking at me , did I see eyes filled with tears or I might be wrong since the mesh of veil can be deceiving.

I stood there in front of him as he moved my veil behind .

He literally had tears in his eyes , my eyes automatically scrunched wondering why .

I raised my hand and wiped his tears , he was still tall with me wearing heels .

He gave me a laugh , not believing what I just did .

" You look gorgeous" he said and I mouthed a thank you .

Then the officator said everything and asked us to repeat , which we did . Then we exchanged the rings. He was very gentle while he made me wear my ring . It was this gorgeous white diamond rock , it was very shiny .

"And now you may kiss the bride", the officiant said and the crowd started cheering .

Let's give them the damn show .

I held onto lapels and grabbed it near me , he was taken aback by my action .

" Woah " he said , almost slipping but quickly composed himself .

I kissed him on the side of his lips that looks like a lip lock .

" That's smart " he said

" Shut up " I said almost laughing before letting him go .
