"if you're letting go them i'm gonna need

more nights like these"

The next day, I had helped Grace finish setting up her new phone. It was really a troubling experience because Grace was like one of those old people that don't know anything about electronics. It was a lot of Grace relaxing and me setting up the phone for her.

I was excited for the concert tonight, but Grace was not matching my energy, she's such a homebody, not even wanting to get out of the house.

I slipped my AirPods into my ears, grabbed my phone and played my playlist. I threw on some comfortable clothes and got ready to take my jog.

I slept in a lot this morning, and it was nice because Uncle Jack or Grace didn't wake me. I did wake up around ten though because I heard Grace fall down the stairs. That happens a lot. My mother used to always tell Grace "she hasn't grow into her limbs yet" since Grace was tall and clumsy.

I opened the front door of the house, and slipped into the hot afternoon Santa Barbara air. I knew I wasn't going to last very long in the heat. I started my jog around the city.

When I ran up to the house again I checked my watch, three hours had passed. I was way too carried away with my jog to realize what time it was. It was about four pm.

I kind of had gotten lost during my jog, but no one needed to know that. I mean, I'm here now aren't I? This old couple had helped me get back home.

"Gosh! Where have you been!" Grace says as she hears the front door open.

"I went for a run, then stopped to get some food." I say, stilling looking down at my watch, trying to see how many miles I ran. 3 miles.
