Chapter 18: Going to Washington D.C.

(Greenwich, New York. April 2014, Cayden's Age: 17)

Cayden's Pov

It's been a couple of months since I became Spider-Man and fought the Green Goblin who was actually Harry's father Norman Osborn but he was killed by his own glider. But Harry put the blame on me which I don't really care at all, all i cared about is that my family, Eva, and the people of New York is safe from Goblin. I met Tony Stark and became an Avenger but still do solo stuff. Speaking of solo stuff right now I'm fighting one of my villains I have gotten over the course of the months and his name is Rhino as he threw two cars at me as I jumped on one and then the other before landing on the ground.

Cayden: Come on horn head! Is that are you got?! Because Sandman did a lot worst to me two week ago!

Rhino: Your voice is annoying me spider!

Cayden: You get use to it horn head now come at me! If you want to shut me up then you got to try and hurt me.

Rhino then charged at me as I runs at him as I slide under him and fired and web at his back and pulled myself in the air and grabbed his horn and kicked him in the face. Before my spider sense went off he then grabbed me and slammed me onto the ground as I bounced up back in the air as he kicked me to an building as I hold me gut as I see Rhino charging at me as I quickly turned invisible and moved out of the way as Rhino runs into the building.

Cayden: *holds my gut and lands to the ground* Damn....Gonna feel that all day.

I became visible as my spider sense went off as I quickly dodged an piece of a building that Rhino was throwing at me as he throws another one but I webbed it up and throws it right back at him hitting him.

Cayden: Don't like rubble? Well there's more where that soon!

I started webbing up rubble and throwing it at him which stunned him as I web zipped to him knowing he can tank some of my strength as punched him in the face and double kicked him in the chin as he falls to the ground and he was out cold.

Cayden: *pants* Take that and don't get the hell up.

I webbed him up as I fired an web and started to swing away from the area. As I was swinging I felt my phone vibrate as I pulls it out and saw it was my mom who texted me telling me to come back home for something. Confused but shrugs my shoulders and started making my way back home.

(Seven minutes later...)

After seven minutes of swinging as I had to saved some people from a car crash, now I'm wearing my normal clothing as I unlocked the door as I walked inside.

Cayden: I'm home!

Donna: In the living room!

I walks further as I sees my mom sitting on the couch as I noticed an red haired woman sitting on a chair as I knew it was the Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff due to going through the Avenger's files secretly.

Cayden: What I miss?

Natasha: Well Mr. Dunlap, I am here on behave of the September foundation we have set you on a all paid trip to Washington D.C for an project to work on.

Cayden: Hm, alright.

Donna: *smiles* I'm glad you is doing this to help us out. *feels her phone ringing* Oh I have to take this.

I watched my mom gets up and walks away to talk on the phone as I looked at Natasha.

Cayden: Okay enough of the fake shit. Why are you here Romanoff?

Natasha: You know who I am. You is smart.

Cayden: Answer the question.

Natasha: The head of S.H.I.E.L.D. wants you on a mission with Captain America.

Cayden: Hm, let me guess they are in Washington D.C.

Natasha: Correct.

Cayden: When do I leave?

Natasha: Tomorrow.

Cayden: *sighs* Alright.

I walked away into my room to get some stuff ready for the trip to D.C.

(The Next day, Washington D.C.)

It was the next day as I'm in D.C with Natasha as she takes me to one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters as we made it to an office and it opens up revealing the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury.

Fury: Agent Romanoff, good to see you. And you as well, Mr. Dunlap.

Cayden: *crossed my arms* Fury.

Fury then started to explain the mission towards us as it's an ship by the name of the Lumarian Star being taken hostage by pirates and he want us along side Captain America and an S.T.R.I.K.E. team. After the talking we walked out of the office as Natasha looks at me.

Natasha: I'm going to pick up the Captain, don't cause trouble.

Cayden: *rolls my eyes* Whatever.

I then turned invisible and walked away from where Natasha was at.

(Twenty Minutes Later)

I was laying on top of the ceiling of a room as I was taking an nap as I hears the door opens up as that wakes me up a bit as I open one of my eyes and sees Natasha.

Cayden: You picked him up?

Natasha: Yeah, now we're waiting for you. So suit up.

I then raised up a bit and then jumped down while taking my clothes off as I had my suit underneath as i looked at her before putting my mask on.

Cayden: There, so not let's go.

Natasha walks away as I followed her ready to start this mission.
