Cayden's Pov
(Couple of days later)
It's been a few days since me and Jeff stopped some of the demons, MJ made a story about him and it was actually good for once, me and Eva are doing well as a couple. Right now I'm taking to my grandma in her office at F.E.A.S.T.
May: So I heard you and Eva are dating. Took you long enough.
Cayden: Ugh...I wanted to keep it a secret but the brat and Anthony wouldn't shut their mouth at all.
We then heard a small knock and saw Mr. Li at the door.
May: Martin!
Martin: Sorry to interrupt. Just wanted to let you know I'm headed out of town. *points at May* You're in charge while I'm gone.
May: Well you can count on me. How long will you be away?
Martin: ......I really don't know. *turns around*
Cayden: Is everything alright?
Martin: It's some personal business I've been planning for a while. But...please take care of this place. It represent the best part of me.
Mr. Li then walks away as I look at my grandma.
May: Well, I guess I better get busy.
Cayden: I'll leave out of your hair.
I walks out of her office as I got a call from MJ and I answered.
Cayden: Watson.
MJ: Hey. Did you see my story?
Cayden: I did. And for once I actually like it and I bet you boss is happy.
MJ: Yeah, it kinda went viral. And get this, Harry just announced he's going to give Officer Davis an award this afternoon.
Cayden: *groans* Now he's acting like a good mayor.
MJ: Don't be like that. I'll be there covering it, want to join me? Xavier and the others are going.
Cayden: Ugh....sure I'll come.
I hanged up the call and leaves the center and put on my spider suit and sits on the roof.
Cayden: I got time to kill.....Let's do something.
I then started dives off the roof and started swinging around hoping to do something. After some minutes later I stopped a few thugs as I got a call from Jeff.
Cayden: Sup Jeff. Congrats on the ceremony today.
Jefferson: I'll be glad when it's over. A truck full of armed Demons scares me less than public speaking. But I'm calling about something else.
Cayden: And that is?
Jefferson: Just got a tip that Demons are moving on the Fisk construction site in midtown. Wife'll kill me if I ditch the ceremony prep to play cops and robbers, but I thought my amazing new partner would want to know.
Cayden: Got it. Will swing by and let you know. And here's a tip on public speaking don't look at the crowd fake like you're looking at them.
The call ended as I then started making my way to Midtown.
(Five Minutes Later)
I made it to the construction site and saw a truck with the words 'Consolidated Shipping' drive out of the site and onto the roads.
