Just as Percy started to feel at home, strange things began happening. Unexplained shadows appeared at the edges of Ponyville, and townsfolk reported eerie dreams of whispered promises.
Percy recognized the signs immediately. "Something dark is coming," he warned Twilight.
His suspicions were confirmed when an ancient foe—a Nightmare spirit banished long ago—awoke. The Nightmare sought to corrupt Equestria, turning dreams into nightmares and twisting hope into fear.
As chaos began to spread, Percy knew he had to act. His experiences in Whitestone had prepared him for dealing with nightmares—literal and metaphorical. But here, violence alone wouldn't save the day.
With help from his friends, Percy devised a plan. He combined the magic of friendship with his engineering prowess to build a device capable of banishing the Nightmare spirit. But there was one catch—it required everypony to trust each other fully. No secrets, no fear, only belief in their bonds.
For Percy, this was harder than building any machine. But as the Nightmare closed in, he realized he couldn’t save Ponyville alone. He had to let his friends in.
