Midnight read the clock. Mum and Dad would be asleep by now so here was my chance. I get out of bed and chuck on my equipment, a fairly simple task: it's an In-N-Out job. We have the withdrawal team ready and I will have backup, all I need is to be in and out, quickly, grab the payment and get back home. Simple. I sneak downstairs and just as I approach the front door…
“Rose!???”
Shoot, it's my sister, “ Hey Charlotte!”
“ Rose, where are you going?”
“ A halloween party!” I lie. “ But don't tell mom and dad, keep this between us please????”
“Fine, but be back before two!”
“Okay,” I sigh a breath of relief as I open and close the door. The cab is here, it's time to go.

As I get in the car I hear my supervisor,
“You’re late!”
I explain to him about the run in with my sister and get off with a warning. Tonight's task is too big for immature games of our usual banter.
