Fushiguro and I stand in the doorway to the apartment of a woman's home as we face her. The woman whose son was left as a mangled corpse, only his body from the waist up remaining. The son who Itadori had wanted to save. "By the time we arrived he was already dead." Fushiguro says bluntly as the woman's face begins to contort. "I'm sorry." He says and the woman breaks into a heavy sob.

I watch as the woman in front of me lifts her trembling hand to her mouth as tears fall from her eyes which were wide with shock, her hand now muffling her previously loud sobs. "To be honest, I was skeptical about saving anyone there." Fushiguro says and my eyes widen in response, "Dude you cant say that!" I whisper harshly.

He ignores me and continues, "However, my friend was different. He wasn't successful, but, after we confirmed your son's death, he at least tried to bring the body back for you." I look over at the boy who seemed lost in thought, the woman's crying now coming to an end.

Fushiguro lets out a small gasp and pulls a plastic sleeve from his pocket, "Please, take this." he says as he presents the transparent sleeve, I take a closer look and realise that he's holding the name-tag, reading 'Okazaki Tadashi', that was originally on the prison jumpsuit.

When did he even get that? The woman takes the plastic sleeve, gently holding it between her thumb and index finger as she inspects it. "I know it's not much, I'm sorry we weren't able to save Tadashi." Fushiguro says thoughtfully as he bows down towards the woman, I follow afterwards.

"It's alright, dont apologise. I'm the only one who will mourn him." The woman says as her eyes begin to brim with tears, yet again, with her nose running. "No one else will even care" She chokes out before she bobs down to the floor, continuing her previous sobbing. I feel my heart ache and think of Itadori. It isn't fair.

I walk down the stairs to the track field, I glance around my environment and notice Inumaki sat on the floor with his elbows resting on his knees, Maki stood next to him, holding her staff over her shoulder, and Panda and Nobara on the track, puffed out, sprinting in circles. "Yo, you're late." Maki sighs as she looks towards Fushiguro and I, "Kelp." Inumaki says.

"Where have you been?" She asks as we walk up to her. I remove the jacket from my body, now standing in a tank top and shorts. "And whats it matter to you?" Fushiguro asks bluntly as he zips up the zipper of his jacket.

Maki looks away, unbothered and unwilling to answer. I walk over to Inumaki and sit next to him, holding my fingers out, signalling that I want to play 'Chopsticks', he quickly reciprocates my movement. I eavesdrop on the conversation between Fushiguro and Maki as I continue to play a game with Inumaki.

"Answer me something..." Fushiguro starts, Maki turning her attention back to him, "As a Jujutsu Sorcerer, what kind of people do you want to save?" he asks, looking towards the ground. I immediately know that his question was a result of him thinking about Itadori and his values and aspirations.

"Huh? What difference should it make to me if my actions save anyone at all?" Maki says in a tone that suggests she thought it was common knowledge. "I knew I shouldn't have asked you." Fushiguro says with a bored tone as he looks away. "SAY WHAT?!" Maki exclaims, offended and I chuckle, Inumaki doing the same.

"FUSHIGURO!" I hear Nobara yell and I turn my head to see pandas swinging her around in circles as he hold her ankles. "STOP ASKING INTERVIEW PREP QUESTIONS AND COME SWITCH PLACES WITH ME!!" She yells as she continues to be swung around, "I AM TOTALLY SICK OF THESE SCHOOL UNIFORMS! LET ME GO BUY A CUTE TRACKSUITS FOR THIS EVENT!!" she continues to yell and I deadpan.

"Bonito flakes." Inumaki says dryly from next to me, also watching the scene unfold, "I know right?" I reply as we turn our attention back to our game of 'Chopsticks'. I then hear a shrill scream followed by a thud and glance over to see Nobara, face down, kissing the dirt. I choke back a laugh.

"Nobara... are we lost?" I ask the girl next to me as we stand in a crowd of people, 3-5 shopping bags on either one of my arms, Nobara in the same position as we look around the crowd, trying to find anything either of us recognise. We fail.

- - - - -

"NO I AM NOT DOING THAT!!" I exclaim as Nobara suggests the most unthinkable thing possible, "(L/N) WE DONT KNOW WHERE WE ARE!" she yells angrily, I huff, crossing my arms over my chest, "Not happening. You won't catch me DEAD calling that child for help." I say with my eyes shut. "(L/NNNNN) WE NEED TO GO HOME" Nobara whines, "Dont care." I huff.

I listen to an obnoxious laugh as I hold my phone to my ear, Nobara glaring at me, keeping me on the phone. "YOU GOT LOST?? AND YOU SAY IM A CHILD" The voice exclaims, obviously amused. I grit my teeth, "Come get me YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I yell into the phone was the laughs on the other side grow louder.

After they finally die down I listen to the background noise on the other end of the phone, "Are you watching that movie you forced me to watch when I needed to practice using cursed energy?" I ask as I recognise the irritatingly cheesy movie lines. He sputters for a few seconds before answering, "Uhhh- yeah! I never got to actually see it!" he says. We literally watched that movie together and he cried??

"Whatever, just come get Nobara and I." I say, brushing off his weird actions and comments, used to it. "You got it!" He replies chirpily before hanging up. "Ughhh you seriously owe me." I state as I turn to face Nobara, "It's not that big a deal" she replies, confused as to why im acting this way.

I deadpan, "I haven't asked Gojo for help in my entire life. He's gonna bring this up every chance he gets." I groan as I facepalm, "You are so right." I turn and shriek when i'm met face-to-face with the man-child, his eyes out, almost burning mine from how bright they are. "Personal space Gojo. Fucken christ." I scowl as I push his face away from me.

"Let's go!!" He cheers before bringing us to Ijichi, taking us back to campus. Once we arrive we drag Fushiguro into my room so we can do a shopping haul and lay all our new items out on the floor, courtesy to Gojo. "Why am I here again?" Fushiguro asks as Nobara and I had just finished presenting all our new things to him.

Fushiguro sits upright on my bed as Nobara and I tower over him, standing in front of him while laughing uncontrollably, "Was this really necessary?" Fushiguro asks blankly as I look at his makeup covered face, "C'mon Megs. Don't act like you didnt enjoy getting your makeup done" I say teasingly, Fushiguro looks away, irritated. "You guys are so annoying" He says before standing to leave my room.

Nobara and I just watch him leave as we laugh even harder. Fushiguro opens the door and steps outside of my room only to be stopped by the group of Second-years, "Woah- Megumi. Whats with your face?" Maki asks as Panda laughs at him, "Salmon, Salmon." Inumaki says, amusement evident in his voice, "Shut up." Fushiguro mumbles with a tic mark on his head as everyone crowds around him talking photos.

"I dont know why you boys are laughing, you're next." Nobara says and the two boys freeze, Fushiguro now making fun of them as we drag them into my room and paint all over their faces. "Kelp." Inumaki says bluntly as he sighs at Nobara and I who are taking hundreds of photos of both him and Panda. Maki trying her hardest not to laugh at the sight of them.
