the beginning of it all

all throughout izuku midoriya's childhood he was bullied by katsuki bakugo, katsuki was relentless to izuku, izuku barely had any friends he considered katsuki as a friend or he tried to, he tried many times and in many different ways to be katsuki's friend but no matter what, he wasn't good enough everyday he would go home upset and on the verge of tears from katsuki's bullying he couldn't understand why katsuki wouldn't be his friend, sure he was quirkless but at the time izuku was always hopeful he would wake up one day and finally have a quirk even after the many times he was told he wouldn't get one, he knew one day he would have one and when that day came katsuki would be his friend, he dreamed of that day but that day would never come and the days passing izuku would cry himself to sleep just wanting to have his friend even if he wasn't his friend, izuku's only outlet for his frustrations was his only online friend, they met from an all might fan page on an hero based website, they were both obsessed with all might, they were both the same age, and they even lived really close together how could they not instantly click? everyday after trying to play with katsuki and then instantly being rejected and bullied izuku would go home sad and get on his ipad and text his online friend he would vent to him about it and asked if he was only good enough if he had a quirk. his friend would always reassure him and tell izuku his bully was stupid not being with a guy as cool as izuku, but little did izuku know that his friend on the other side of the tablet would be his bully. even though they were young and dumb they're parents had told them the importance of online safety so online they would use nicknames of their names and wouldn't share too much with each other even though they trusted each other with everything their parents scared them with horror stories about bad things about the internet and they wouldn't dare to do what those people did. this is one of many reasons why they never knew each other's identities one of the other reasons was cause when they met they were both young as only meeting when they were five and at that age they were both really stupid and even after growing with each other they would see some of the traits that could prove their identities but since they knew each other for so long they ruled it out.
