Third person's POV

It was raining... the sky was crying for the girl who was demanding to be loved.

Syd didn't know why she was telling this to Oscar. She has no clue where she got the energy to run to Oscar's apartment. She was so weak a few hours ago, she's supposed to be resting now... but she couldn't. Resting wasn't possible in Syd's house. But she badly needed to rest, but where?

She couldn't go to her friends' house since they don't know what's happening to her. She couldn't go to school since it's already closed. She couldn't go anywhere. So where can she rest? Where will she find a place to finally rest?

She thought it would be at the bridge. But no. She was wrong.

"Syd." There... Oscar's voice lingered in her mind.

She started running. As fast as she can. She ran and ran and ran. Until she arrived somewhere.

Her feet brought her to an apartment. To one specific door. And when that door opened-- all of her facade crumbled to her feet.

She was now standing in front of Oscar-- bare and real.

She was scared. She was trembling. She doesn't know what and why she was saying those things to Oscar. But most of all, even if she doesn't want to admit it to herself, she knows she's scared of the possibility Oscar might close his door for her too.

"Okay, Syd." But that was what Oscar said. That was enough to bring Syd back into reality.

Syd looked at him in disbelief. She was confused as to why Oscar agreed to her ridiculous outburst. But Oscar just stood there while he was still holding Syd's bruised hand. Oscar kept his gaze on Syd-- serious and sincere with his words. There was no backing out for Oscar.

"W-What? You're actually... agreeing with me?" Syd was slapped back into reality after she heard Oscar's response to her. Oscar nodded seriously.

"I'll do it," He said. Syd couldn't believe it. Although she was scared, but she was more ready to be rejected by Oscar than this.

"I... I don't know why I said all of those but Oscar... I don't really mean--" Oscar cuts off Syd before she could even finish her sentence.

"No. Sorry but I don't care if you want to take it back, Syd. I'll do it," Oscar said. Oscar knew that some of part of Syd really wanted that. If she didn't, then that would have never crossed her mind. But it did.

"Oscar..." Syd was puzzled. She looked at him with worry in her eyes. "Why would you say yes? You should've said no instead, Oscar." She said but Oscar shook his head right away.

"I already told you multiple times. I'll do anything to keep you around. Anything. And what you just said, I'll take that as your consent to let me do my best to keep you," He smiled. "So Syd... I'll take care of you to the best of my ability. I'll love and care for you so much you'll want to live again."
