chapter -5: dipper

8:00, august 31st, 2016

I was awake. Not a big shock since i hadn't really gone to sleep in the first place. Today was going to be horrible. Mainly because I had told lexx,kasin, and mr.brown that my birthday was today, but i told them i had no interest in a party, but now there was no point in putting anything off So i got dressed and went downstairs and saw lexx and Kasin waiting for me. "happy birthday!!" cheered Kasin "guys, i told you i didn't want a party!" I yelled
"aw c'mon, it's your 13th birthday!" said lexx " fine. but don't do anything over the top" i said " of course not" said lexx and we ate breakfast " now, since the effort is stalled, i thought i would take you on a tour of the town" said kasin " fine" i grudged, i wished we could just do research " but our plan is to show you elitiches, the mall, and red rocks" said kasin " i only have heard of the mall" i said. I really hope they don't show me any of the candy stores " well, when do we wanna go?" Asked lexx and i finished my drink and slammed my hands on the table " now!" I said.

We got into mr.brown's car " hello mr. Brown" i said " happy birthday dipper" said mr.brown and i shuddered " yeah" i said " takes us to the mall!" Declared lexx " that is halfway across town!?" Said Mr.brown " but it's dipper's birthday!?" Said kasin. It was only 8, and i already wanted to strangle him but soon we took off and after about a hour, we arrived At a huge mall " see ya in 2 hours" said kasin then lexx,kasin and i went inside and i quickly noticed it was absolutely huge, and all the summer stuff was replaced with new fall decorations " ok now dipper what store do you want to go to first?" Asked lexx " uh, do they have mythic shop?" I asked, at least that sounded interesting " ok then! Let's go!" Said kasin then he lead me to a shop but i noticed something odd ".....but this is a candy store" i started but the two were too far into the store to hear me " pick your battles dipper" i sighed and i walked in, trying to not focus on anything until i came across something horrifying " woah, smile dip? I was so sure they banned this" said lexx " they should've. I thought it was just at the dusk til dawn" i said then kasin ran up and handed me a candy bar " thanks." I said and we left the store but I just kept thinking about how much mabel would've loved this all, and it made me really sad so eventually i just sat down while the two continued, until they reached me again " ready to go?" Asked lexx " yeah" i said, trying not to sound like i was upset. Then we got back into the car " kids, we don't have time to go to elitiches" said mr.brown " aw man" said kasin " but i bought him cotton candy" said lexx then he tried to hand the pink cotton candy to me, we hit a pothole, it jumped out of his hand, and right when my hat fell off, it landed in my hair " aw, great!" I said as i tried to get it out, but it only made it worse and now i couldn't put my hat back on so i put it in my backpack, frustrated. Soon the we arrived at this large area wit orange Rocks and a stage what is this place?" i asked "this, is Red Rocks" said kasin so we got out of the car and walked around and my spirits started to lift until I Saw a small box on the stage "what's that?" I asked why don't you go and find out?" teased left so I walked through the stands until I was able to Climb on the stage "what is is?" I asked as l looked around it, trying to find any Hint to what it was, so I opened it but when i saw lexx and kasin were far away but then before i could react, something hit me and knocked me to the ground " what.... was........that!?!?" I asked then i looked at my hand and it was stained pink, then i look at half of my jacket and it was also stained pink. I had had it today. What did these two really think they were doing!?!!? " GUYS!?!? WHAT THE FRICK ARE YOU THINKING TODAY!!!! THIS ISN'T SPECIAL!!! IT'S JUST PAINFUL?! I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!" I screamed then i stormed away, found a taxi and went back to the apartment " you ok? Asked the lady at the desk but i just quickly went to the 7th floor and slammed the door. ' worst birthday ever" i said to myself when someone knocked on the door " who is it!?" I asked" it's me, mr.brown" said the voice so i moved and he came in " i heard you got upset with kasin and lexx" said mr.brown " i guess I was a little mean, just i told them i didn't even want to celebrate today " i said " they didn't mean to make you upset, they just weren't thinking" said mr.brown then he handed me two boxes " you too?" I asked ' i thought you might want something" he said so i opened the larger box and found a dark blue hoodie " wow, thank you" i said " that is actually from kasin " said mr Brown so i opened the smaller box and found some pins of aliens and other mythic symbols " i bought those" said mr Brown so i put on the hoodie and followed him to the lobby where I saw kasin and lexx " im so sorry. I didn't mean anything bad!!!" Cried lexx and kasin was just crying" guys it's ok, you guys didn't know" i said then lexx handed me a box, i opened it and saw a cool fountain pen, but on the cap it read ' it's gonna get wierd' " thanks lexx, this is so cool!" I said and the three of us hugged. Looks like I'm getting better at being social " now ...i know it's your birthday, but can i make a suggestion?" Asked kasin " scratch my birthday" i said so we all walked up to my apartment and kasin put in a DVD for molly brown. " Shocker" said lexx and while i waited for the popcorn, lexx patted my shoulder " you are officially a teen, hows it feel?" Asked lexx " about the same, teenage years are over hyped" i said and lexx laughed but then kasin came in with popcorn and before we started the movie, i thought about how mabel's birthday was, if she celebrated at all.
