50 friggin' Reads!!!!!😭🤍

I can’t believe I’m writing this right now! To be honest, when I first started this story, I didn’t think anyone would actually read it, let alone 50 people. I’m honestly a little shocked and emotional as I write this.

As a new writer, it’s overwhelming (in the best way possible!) to know that some of you have taken the time to read my story. It might not seem like much to some, but to me, it means everything.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving this story a chance.

And stay tuned!

With so much love and gratitude,
MISHTI~

•The Unspoken Pull•

The following day, Jungkook couldn’t shake the feeling that had gripped him after seeing Nari in class. His dreams had been haunting him for weeks, but now there was a face—a real person—to match the blurry image that had always evaded him.

As Jungkook entered the campus, his usual confidence was laced with uncertainty. Taehyung and Jimin walked alongside him, talking about some new video game they had started playing, but Jungkook could barely concentrate on their conversation. His mind kept drifting back to Nari.

Who was she?

And why did she feel so inexplicably familiar?

Jimin nudged Jungkook, snapping him out of his thoughts. “Earth to Jungkook? You with us, man?”

“Huh? Yeah, sorry, I’m just thinking about something,” Jungkook replied with a forced smile, trying to hide how distracted he was.

Taehyung gave him a curious glance but didn’t press further. "We’ll see you later, Jungkook. We’ve got different classes now," he said softly, his voice shy as his eyes met Jungkook’s for a brief moment. The brief eye contact made Taehyung’s heart race, but Jungkook seemed oblivious as usual.

“Yeah, see you both later,” Jungkook replied absentmindedly as Taehyung and Jimin headed off to their respective classes.

Jungkook made his way to his next class, walking through the hallways with a growing sense of anticipation. Would Nari be there again today? The question buzzed in his mind as he approached the lecture hall.

When he entered, his eyes immediately scanned the room. And there she was—sitting near the middle of the class, casually flipping through her notebook. Her presence sent a strange shiver down his spine. It was almost like déjà vu. He had seen her before, just not in this life.

Jungkook took his usual seat at the back, but his attention was nowhere near the front of the class. His focus was entirely on Nari. His thoughts raced as the professor began the lecture, droning on about art theory and techniques, but Jungkook wasn’t listening.

Instead, his mind wandered back to the dreams—the girl, the blurry image, the sense that she was always just out of reach. Last night’s dream had been different, though. For the first time, he had seen her face clearly. Nari’s face.

It hit him like a tidal wave. All this time, he had been painting her—unconsciously bringing her image to life on his canvas, unaware that she was real, that she was someone he would meet in the flesh.

The realization sent chills down his spine, and his hands trembled slightly as he clenched them in his lap.

His thoughts were interrupted when the professor called out, "Nari, would you like to stay after class for a moment? I’d like to go over your transfer credits."

Jungkook’s heart skipped a beat. It was the perfect opportunity. Maybe after class, he could approach her, find out if she felt this strange connection too. His mind whirled with possibilities as the lecture continued.

When class finally ended, Jungkook stayed seated, watching as the students filtered out of the room. Nari stood up and approached the professor, her posture calm and composed. Jungkook’s heart raced in his chest.

He had to know. He had to talk to her.

As Nari finished her conversation with the professor and turned to leave, Jungkook stood up, his legs carrying him toward her before he could second-guess himself.

“Nari?” he called out, his voice steady despite the nervous energy coursing through him.

She stopped and turned around, her expression curious as she looked at him. There was a flicker in her eyes, something that made Jungkook’s heart race all over again. That same pull, that same connection—it was there, just like in his dreams.

"Hey... I know this might sound strange, but have we met before?" Jungkook asked, his voice hesitant but filled with a sense of urgency.

Nari raised an eyebrow, a small smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Why do you ask?" she replied, her tone light but cryptic.

Jungkook swallowed, unsure of how to explain the dreams without sounding insane. "It’s just... you seem really familiar to me. Like I’ve seen you before, but I can’t quite place where."

For a split second, something flickered in her eyes—something knowing, something deep. And then, as quickly as it appeared, it was gone.

"Maybe you have," she said with a soft chuckle before walking past him, leaving Jungkook standing there, more confused—and more intrigued—than ever.

As she disappeared down the hallway, Jungkook’s mind raced. There was something about her that he couldn’t ignore, something that connected them in ways he couldn’t yet understand.

And he wasn’t going to stop until he figured it out.
