"In shadows cast by whispered dreams, Where echoes of our laughter gleam, A heart once whole, now torn apart, Still bears the weight of love's cruel art.
The days we danced in golden light, Now linger in the depths of night, Each memory, a haunting song, A bittersweet refrain, so long.
Though time moves on, the scars remain, A ghostly touch, a lingering pain, In every sigh, in every tear, Your past love's shadow lingers near"

•Nari's Awakening•
NARI'S POV
Nari sat in her room, the beautiful lights of the sunset casting soft shadows across her walls. The evening felt heavy, oppressive, like it was closing in around her.
Ever since her strange conversation with Jungkook in the art room, she had been overwhelmed with an unsettling feeling, one she couldn't quite place.
It was like a storm brewing just beneath the surface, waiting to break free. But deep down, she already knew the storm had started long ago.
The memories were always there, buried under layers of time, but now they were forcing their way to the surface. Pieces of a past she had desperately tried to forget. And it all centered around Jungkook.
He wasn't just an ordinary person in her life. He was her past. He was her torment. He was the reason she had suffered, the reason her life had fallen apart in another lifetime.
Nari stared out the window, her fingers gripping the edge of the bed as her breathing grew shallow.
She didn't want to remember-didn't want to relive the pain. But it was impossible to ignore the truth. Her past was catching up to her, and no matter how much she tried to suppress it, it was clawing its way to the surface.
Her heart raced, and before she could stop it, the room shifted. The world around her blurred, and in an instant, she was back in that forest again-the same forest from her previous vision. The air was thick with the scent of wet earth, pine, and the lingering trace of smoke. She could hear the distant crackle of a fire and the rustling of leaves in the wind.
Her feet moved without her command, carrying her deeper into the forest, and just like before, she wasn't alone.
Jungkook was there.
But this wasn't the Jungkook she knew now. This was someone different-someone darker. His eyes, once so soft and full of warmth, were cold and calculating. His face was shadowed, and his expression twisted with fury.
He was JEONGGUK-
He stood across from her, holding a sword in his hand, its edge glinting in the dim light. Blood stained the ground between them, seeping into the earth like a permanent scar.
Nari took a shaky step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She remembered this. She remembered him.
"You ruined everything," her past self whispered, her voice trembling with both anger and heartbreak. "Why, Jeongguk? Why did you betray me?"
His eyes flickered with something-guilt, perhaps-but it was gone in an instant, replaced by the cold indifference that had taken root in his heart. He stepped forward, the blade gleaming ominously in his hand. "It had to be done. You know that."
Nari felt a sob rise in her throat, but she held it back, refusing to let the tears fall. She couldn't show weakness. Not now. Not when she had already lost so much. "I trusted you," she choked out. "I loved you."
"And you still do," echoed in her mind, cold and unrelenting.
Her vision blurred again, and she was pulled back into the present, the weight of her memories settling heavily on her chest. She gasped for breath, clutching the blanket tightly in her fists as she tried to steady herself.
She did still love him.
Even now, after everything, she couldn't shake the hold he had on her heart. But she couldn't let him remember. She couldn't let Jungkook recall the sins of his past, because if he did, it would destroy them both. It would shatter the fragile peace she had built for herself in this new life.
Nari pressed her palms against her temples, squeezing her eyes shut. She had to keep it together. She couldn't let these memories control her, not when Jungkook was starting to ask questions. He couldn't remember the truth. Not yet. Maybe not ever.
But as much as she tried to deny it, she knew that time was running out.
