Ruhi's POV:

We reached home, and as soon as Arjun got out of the car, he slammed the door shut with a thud. I flinched at the sound. That man is really something.

I stepped out and entered the hall area, handing out ice cream to everyone according to their preferences. We all enjoyed it in comfortable silence, until Dadu decided to break it.

"Yash, my other grandchildren will arrive tomorrow. Krishu will come too, right, Ruhi?" Dadu asked, turning towards me. I nodded with a smile.

"That's wonderful! My daughter Mahi will also be joining us tomorrow afternoon, along with Shubh," Yash uncle added, and my eyes widened in delight.

"Oh! Auntie and Shubh are coming too? But Shubh and Siya told me they’d come in two days," I replied, my face showing genuine surprise.

"Ah, those two! They must’ve been playing a little prank on you. I spoke with Mahi, and she confirmed they’re coming tomorrow. Siya and Rahul will join us a day later," Yash uncle explained, shaking his head with amusement. That mischievous duo—they're always up to something, but they’re sweet.

Mahi aunty is Yash uncle’s daughter, married to Rahul uncle. Their children, Shubh and Siya, are close to my age. Shubh is one year older than me, and Siya one year younger, so the three of us always get along well.

"Dadu, you didn’t tell me about their arrival," Arjun said, his voice sounding genuinely shocked.

"Well, Shubh wanted to surprise you, much like Ruhi’s reaction just now, but I seem to have let the cat out of the bag," Dadu chuckled.

"Don’t worry, uncle! I’ll pretend I have no idea when they get here," I said with a grin.

"That’s the spirit!" Yash uncle exclaimed, giving me an approving nod.

"Arjun beta, you should stay here for a few more days. You’ve met Rahil and Ritika before, and it would be great for everyone to spend time together," Dadi suggested to Arjun.

"Granny, I have a client meeting in three days, so I need to leave soon to prepare everything," Arjun replied, sounding firm but polite.

"But you still have time before your meeting. After the weekend, your clients will be here for three or four days. Don’t worry about the deal; I’ll call Aditya and he can handle the preparations," Yash uncle insisted.

"No, Dadu. I’m not handing this deal over. I’ll take care of it myself," Arjun declared firmly, and I was taken aback by his reaction to what seemed like a minor suggestion. He could have handled that much more calmly.

"Alright, no problem. But since your meeting isn’t for three days, why not stay here and work from home for a while?" Yash uncle suggested, trying to keep things light.

"Yes, that sounds reasonable," Dadu added. Arjun merely nodded, and I could tell he was agreeing just for Dadu’s sake. He didn’t really want to stay. Maybe he’s just a workaholic.

"I’m heading out now. I have some work to finish," Arjun said, standing up abruptly.

"Alright, I’ll be there in a few minutes. Get your work done by then," Yash uncle said, and Arjun simply rolled his eyes.

"Goodnight, everyone," he said as he walked toward his house.

"I’m glad he finally agreed to stay, or I would’ve had to resort to threats this time," Yash uncle joked, making everyone laugh.

We chatted for a little while longer before Yash uncle retired for the night, and Dadu and Dadi went to bed. I headed to my room as well. It was too early to sleep, so I opened my laptop to get some work done.
