Jennie's heart skipped a beat at the question. She tried to act casual, taking a sip of her drink. "It was fine," she said, nonchalantly. "We just discussed a business proposal."
As Jennie continued to talk with her friends, suddenly, a commotion near the bar caught her attention. Looking over, she saw Taehyung and a few of his friends making their way through the crowd, their laughs and voices carrying across the room.
Lisa followed Jennie's gaze and smirked. "Speak of the devil...Looks like Taehyung and his friends just arrived."
Jennie felt her heart skip a beat at the sight of him. She tried to act casual, but Lisa clearly noticed the change in her expression. Jennie quickly looked away, trying to hide her reaction.
"Just ignore them," she muttered, taking a sip of her drink.
As Taehyung and his friends entered the nightclub, they immediately spotted Jennie and her friends sitting at a table in the corner. A mixture of excitement and nervousness washed over Taehyung as he saw her.
Jungkook, noticing the table with Jennie and her friends, nudged Taehyung. "Check out that table over there. The girls are pretty hot."
Taehyung followed Jungkook's gaze and immediately spotted Jennie. His heart skipped a beat, but he tried to play it cool, acting nonchalantly. "Yeah, they're pretty good-looking," he replied, trying to keep his voice even.
Jimin, who was standing next to them, nodded. "The one in the red dress is really cute."
Namjoon, who was also eyeing the table, chimed in. "The one in the yellow dress has a nice smile."
Yoongi, as usual, was more reserved, but he couldn't help but agree with the others. "They're all attractive."
Hoseok, being his cheerful self, grinned. "Maybe we should go over and say hello."
Taehyung was starting to feel outnumbered. Jimin nodded in agreement with Jungkook's suggestion. "He's right. What's the harm in going over and saying hi? It's just being friendly."
Namjoon, sensing Taehyung's hesitation, spoke up. "If you don't want to go over, we won't force you. But we're going to go and say hello to those ladies."
Taehyung's heart sunk a little at Namjoon's words. He knew his friends would go over whether he liked it or not. As they started moving towards Jennie's table, he reluctantly followed, feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement.
As they approached the table, Jennie and her friends looked up, clearly surprised to see them.
Taehyung tried to act casual in front of Jennie, but his heart was racing. Jimin, being the most outgoing of the group, spoke up first. "Hello ladies. We were just passing by and saw you guys. Mind if we join you?"
Jennie glanced at her friends, who seemed intrigued by the new company. She gave a small smile. "Sure, why not? Pull up some chairs."
