Vaixuz's POV:

I entered the conference room, scanning the space with a calculated gaze. The board members were seated, their faces expectant.

"Good morning, everyone," I said, my tone crisp and detached.

"Good morning, Vaixuz," they replied in unison.

I took my seat at the head of the table, my eyes locked on the presentation screen.

"Let's proceed. Mr. Albert, please begin," I instructed.

Albert cleared his throat and started his presentation. I listened intently, analyzing every word and statistic.

"Vaixuz, what's your take on this?" Albert asked, seeking my approval.

"I'm not impressed," I replied, my voice firm but calm. "We need better projections and a solid marketing strategy."

The room fell silent, the tension palpable.

"I agree," said Ms. Santos, breaking the silence. "We should revisit our target audience and adjust our approach."

I nodded curtly. "Do it."

The meeting continued, with me guiding the discussion and dictating the decisions.

As we concluded, I stood up, my expression unyielding.

"Expect results. I won't tolerate failure."

The room emptied, the members scattering to implement my instructions.

I remained seated, my eyes fixed on the presentation screen, my mind already racing to the next challenge.

"OFFICE"

I felt a pang of guilt for invading Diana's privacy. But my curiosity got the better of me.

I wondered: What's Diana's life like without her parents?

I searched for more information, but found nothing conclusive.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed. An email from an unknown sender.

Subject: Stop investigating Diana.

My heart skipped a beat.

I hesitated, then opened the email.

"Dear Vaixuz,

Stop digging into Diana's past. You'll only hurt her more.

Leave her alone.

A friend"

My mind raced. Who sent this? How did they know?

I felt uneasy, but my curiosity remained.

I decided to ignore the warning. My curiosity about Diana's life was stronger than ever.

I continued searching, but found nothing new.

As the day ended, I left the office, lost in thought.

On my way home, I stumbled upon Diana's mall.

I stood outside, watching the mall's bustling activity. My eyes scanned the entrance, hoping to catch a glimpse of Diana.

After a while, I saw her, smiling as she helped a customer.

My heart skipped a beat. I felt drawn to her.

As I watched, a man approached Diana, and they exchanged words. He looked familiar.

Suddenly, I remembered – he was a rival businessman.

I continued observing from afar, curious about their conversation. The rival businessman seemed intense.

Diana listened attentively, her expression professional.

After a few minutes, they parted ways. Diana returned to work, composed.

I wondered what was discussed.

As I turned to leave, I bumped into Diana.

"Sorry!" she exclaimed, shyly and smiling.
