Aaravi

As I stepped onto the private jet, a thrill coursed through me. The plush interior, draped in soft golden lights, felt surreal. I could hardly believe I was about to fly to Goa for our music video shoot. The scent of fresh flowers mingled with polished wood filled the air, and my heart raced with excitement.

I settled into my seat by the window, taking a moment to absorb the luxury around me.

Just then, Sheena approached, her brow furrowed with concern. "Aaravi, I'm really sorry about the jet. I completely forgot to sort it out in time. I hope you're not too disappointed."

"It's okay, really!" I said, forcing a smile to reassure her. "I mean, we're still flying to Goa, right?"

Sheena nodded, her expression brightening slightly. "Yeah, but I wanted everything to be perfect for you, this music video is everything" she said softly.

As the plane taxied down the runway, I turned to catch a glimpse of Karan and Dishant sitting in the seats behind us. Karan was deep in thought, jotting down notes for our upcoming shoot, while Dishant was leaning back, scrolling through his phone.

I couldn't help but admire how focused Karan was, his brow furrowed slightly in concentration.

"Oi!" I called out, hoping to draw him into conversation.

He looked up, and his face broke into a smile that sent butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "Oi? What's this oi thing we've started?"

I smiled sheepishly.

"What are you working on?" I leaned forward, genuinely curious, catching a glimpse of the pages scattered around him.

"Just some ideas for the shoot," he said, glancing between his notes and me.

"You always do," I said, trying to keep my voice light. I wanted to know more about him, and maybe, just maybe, share something of myself in return.

Sheena turned back too, her cheeks flushed as she fidgeted with her hands. "Um, Karan?" she said softly, her voice barely audible. "What's your favorite part about planning events?"

Karan turned to her, his expression warm. "I love creating memorable moments," he said. "Seeing everything come together is like watching a beautiful painting come to life."

Sheena smiled shyly, her gaze flickering between him and the floor. She just admires him right? And I wanted to support her, but a part of me felt a pang of jealousy.

She didnt say she likes him, so I dont have to feel jealous right?

I tried to push those feelings aside,

"Do you think we'll get a chance to explore Goa while we're there?" I asked Karan.

"Definitely! I heard the beaches are amazing. We should find some time to relax after the shoot," he replied, his eyes lighting up at the thought.

"Right! And maybe we could do some beach karaoke?" I suggested, laughing at the idea. "I can't wait to see the waves while singing my heart out."

Karan chuckled, a sound that warmed me from the inside. "I'd love to hear that. Just promise you won't go too easy on me if I join in"

"Deal!" I said grinning.

In the background, Dishant chimed in, leaning over the seat to join our conversation. "Karaoke on the beach? Now that sounds like a party! I can bring the snacks," he said, grinning.

Sheena brightened at the thought. "Snacks are essential! I'll make sure to bring some treats too," she added, her shyness slipping away as the idea of fun filled the air.

I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. With Karan and Dishant's easygoing banter, the mood lightened, but I still found myself stealing glances at Karan, wishing to delve deeper into his world.

Karan's gaze flickered back to Sheena, "Karan, can you teach me a few tricks about event management sometime?" she asked, her voice wavering. "I'd love to learn."

"Sure," he replied, genuinely enthusiastic.

In an attempt to bridge the gap, I leaned over to Karan and asked, "So, what's your biggest dream as an event manager?" I wanted to dive deeper, to peel back the layers of this intriguing guy sitting before me.

He paused, his gaze drifting for a moment before landing back on me.

"Honestly? I want to create experiences that people will remember for a lifetime. Like weddings or milestone events that mean something special to them," he said, his passion evident in every word.

"That's beautiful," I replied, touched by his sincerity. "You really care about making others happy."

"Thanks, Aaravi," he said, the warmth in his voice making my heart race. "And what about you? What do you dream of?"

I took a deep breath, contemplating my words. "I want to make music that connects with people, something that resonates with their hearts and mine," I confessed. "I want to share my story and inspire others through my songs."

Karan's eyes softened, "You're already doing that."

As the conversation flowed, I couldn't help but steal glances at Karan, my heart fluttering each time.

Do I like him?

No, that doesn't make sense. I don't know how the public would react if I started dating again. It could hurt him too; the media twists everything these days.

Maybe it's best to keep things as they are for now.

As the jet soared above the clouds, I leaned back in my seat, a smile tugging at my lips.
