The sunset was breathtaking-captivating and mesmerizing in every way. We had arrived in Goa just a few hours ago, and now, with the evening casting its golden glow, we decided to spend some time on the beach, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. I wore a striking red swimsuit that complemented my excitement, while Sheena opted for a chic purple one that suited her perfectly.

As I glanced back, I couldn't help but smile at the sight of Sheena and Dishant playfully arguing over the best way to prepare some snacks. Their laughter echoed, blending with the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

Wow, poetic enough. Explains why I became a singer song writer.

Just then, I saw Karan sliding next to me, a grin lighting up his face. He had chosen to stay dry, dressed in a crisp white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders and a loosened tie that made him look like he had been sculpted by angels themself.

He was so dreamy.

Eyy! What am I thinking?

"Hello," his voice broke my trance. He shifted his gaze toward the sunset while my eyes remained glued to him.

"Hi..." I whispered, suddenly feeling a bit shy.

"Enjoying the evening so far?" he asked, his voice warm and inviting.

"Yep! This place is heaven," I replied, looking back at the horizon.

Karan chuckled lightly. "It's not bad, but it would be even better if I was not so scared of water."

"Fear of the water? But you look like you could take on a wave or two," I teased, raising an eyebrow.

"Ah, well, that's the charm of a gentleman. We never let our fears show, do we?" he replied with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Alright, Mr. Gentlemen, if you're not going to swim, how about you help us set up the snacks?" I said, giving him a mock-serious look.

"Jaisa Aap Kaho, Ma'am," he said, as he mockingly bowed to me before heading toward the table.

"Wait! You forgot the drinks!" I called after him, laughing.

He turned back, a smile still on his lips. "I'll get them. You just stay here."

After a few minutes, Karan returned, juggling a few bottles of cold drinks. "I present to you... refreshments!" he announced dramatically.

Exactly why I fell for him.

"Wow, the gentleman of the evening returns!" I clapped, taking a bottle from him.

As we settled on the sand, our conversation flowed as efoortsley as the waves. We shared stories about our childhood, laughed at each other's embarrassing moments, and even challenged each other to a game of beach volleyball.

"You know, for someone who's afraid of the water, you're doing pretty well," I teased as he dove to save a ball, his shirt clinging to his skin.

"What can I say?," he said, panting with laughter. "But really, I think I'm getting better at this whole beach thing."

"Just wait until we go for a swim. You'll be a pro in no time," I replied, nudging him playfully.

As the sun dipped lower, casting an enchanting glow over the beach, I felt a sudden surge of spontaneity. I turned to him, my heart racing with an idea.

"Hey, Karan, if you really want to be a pro, how about you take a dip right now?" I challenged, a playful smile on my lips.

He raised an eyebrow, considering it for a moment. "You're trying to push me into the water, aren't you?"

"Maybe I am! Come on, it'll be fun," I urged, leaning closer to him.

"Alright, if that's what you want, then let's do it!" he said, standing up with mock determination.

As he moved closer to the water, I felt a surge of excitement. He glanced back at me, and without thinking, I stepped forward and grabbed his arm, playfully pulling him in with me.

In that instant, as he stumbled and fell into the shallow waves, our laughter echoed against the backdrop of the setting sun. But just as he regained his balance, we locked eyes, the air around us shifting.

Before either of us could speak, I found myself leaning in, and in a heartbeat, our lips met in a soft, tentative kiss.

What!???

We pulled away, breathless and wide-eyed, the reality of what had just happened sinking in.
