She was touching me.

She was kissing me.

Her kiss was sweet, gentle and fast. Like a sporadic drizzle, it was over before it began but I was greedy. I needed more of her to calm the hunger I felt hum through me in response to her touch. The heat of her lips made me feel alive and the chaste kiss that she gave me simply wasn't enough to quench my thirst for her. I couldn't stop myself as I cradled her in my arms; the need to fill my hands with as much of her as I could get; and praise God, there was more than enough. Wrapping one hand firmly around her waist and another gently against the side of her face, I reached for what I could find bending myself for better access. She gasped in response and I swallowed the sound, seeking another with determined desperation but mine came first; a low, unrestrained moan in the back of my throat. Her lips parted in response. I could finally taste her, inhabit the place where all the words she forms come from but there was one I wanted to hear more than anything else; my name. Her body, all soft peaks and valleys beneath me soothed the ache inside of me. I stifled a groan against the gentle flick of her tongue. A groan sparked by the sheer agitation that we had too many clothes on - even now I couldn't see her body but I could feel it. The rapid beat of her heart, her breasts now pulled against my chest - the slick of her lipgloss. The plump of her ass squeezed, flooding my palm. I kneaded into it like dough and it gave in just the right way. She sighs and I'm drunk off her.

A cough sounded off in the distance and the moment died. She was instantly pulling away from me -leaving me hot with need. The cool air whipped against my mouth and I opened my eyes to find her breathless and flushed. She was looking at her shoes again but now for completely different reasons.

"Well ah... If you're sure ma'am."

"Yes. Yes Sir." She turned avoiding my gaze.

"Well of course she's sure! Didn't you see that passion? You just be safe dearie." The old woman sounded elated, like she had just watched her favourite telenovela.

"Thank you." Shi's smile was nothing short of bashful. She was thoroughly embarrassed... As for me? I was thanking my lucky stars for nosy but well-meaning bystanders. I saluted the security guard and pulled down my mask. Turning to look for her I realised she had practically run (soundlessly) out the aisle.

I caught up to her in the produce section, eyeing potatoes while fixing her hair.

"You want to talk about it?" I was rubbing it in, her discomfort but it was rare and for once enjoyable.

"No. No need."

"And why is that?" Did she not feel what I had?

"Well...it'll never happen again." She sounded resolute but her body betrayed her. Her voice fluctuated towards the ends and I could see her pupils, still blown, as she heaved to pick up a packet of potatoes. I grabbed it from her hand, wanting to hold her own, now knowing for certain something I had very much doubted - she was attracted to me.

"Of course it will."

Again and again and again on an infinite loop.

"No, it won't!" she tried to pull her hand out of mine as we walked towards the till and stopped when we qued behind the old lady.

"I can't see much of him but I'd hide my man if he looked like that as well." The old lady smiled at her over her shoulder. Shiloh returned her smile shyly, blushing before looking away.

She was a magnet for strays and I prayed she'd take me in as well.

We exited the store with her looking anywhere but at me and promptly dropping my hand.
