Continuing James Pov
He sat in front of me and said nothing just stared I could tell that he's trying not to act out due to being on duty and having to leave our personal relationship out of this
“So James I'm guessing you know why your here” He began and I nodded he pulled out a notepad and wrote some things on it before looking back up at me
“Why are you here? Remind me” He said and I gulped I knew I shouldn't say anything because the others are basically my family I'd do anything for them but Kai...He's the love of my life
“Because I'm a Criminal” I said and he wrote it down “It'll be better to confess now” He said not making eye contact with me “Confess about what?” I asked
“Everything” He said locking eyes with me “i can't help you” I said looking away “James if you help us you'll get a lesser sentence than the others” He said I knew how these things work I help out the cops with getting evidence
They arrest everyone and on trial day I get sentenced to maybe 15 years while they get 20 years or life in prison “Okay” I agreed he got up and brought in another officer
“We'll get everything arranged from my understanding You have been seeing Officer Jackson I don't know how he let the people we have been looking for,for months slip right under him or were you on top?” The guy said I'm guessing he is the captain
“Not the time Sir” he said standing behind the captain I wanted to chuckle buy now it's not the time “A mic will be attached to you when you are having a conversation with your friends or whoever they are this will help us gain information and get evidence” He explained and I nodded
“You will also tell us any possible places where evidence can be, The Guns found in your shared apartment match the bullet casings from the school shootings along with the Robbery's among other things plus the money in your bank accounts” He said and I nodded
“Good you know everything you will be charged with” He said writing everything down on a notepad I sighed and nodded they took me to a room and left me alone with Kaiden
“Shirt off ” He said picking up a mini microphone with a lot of things attached to it I took my shirt off as he walked over to me looking as hot as ever in uniform
I inhaled sharply as he began attaching it to my upper body
“Please don't be angry at me” I said he paused for a moment before continuing without saying a word I didn't expect himzs1 too but it still hurt
“All done” He said backing away from me I put my shirt back on “What do I do now?” I asked he shrugged I guess we're waiting on orders from the captain then
A few minutes later the door opened and the captain returned with Aaron fucking hell “I knew there was something off about you James” Aaron said as he walked in taking his place beside Kaiden I simply rolled my eyes
“Right James we're sending you out releasing all of you expect Brian until we can find solid evidence because we technically can't take Officer Jackson's word for it there were no one else as withness to hear what he heard” The captain said
I nodded and the released me I met up with the others and we all took the bus to the apartment the door was closed with caution tape across it Brandon tore it down and we went inside I waited
“How did he find out?” Brandon turned around to look at me and asked “I don't know he must have been following me” I said but he didn't look convinced “James I've known you for longer than 5 years you know when someone is following you so don't give me that bullshit!” He yelled
“I really don't know I left extremely early in the morning Brandon it must have looked suspicious so he followed me and found out he is a cop” I said hoping they could hear everything that was being said
“We can't leave the country we're suspects they don't have any evidence we were involved in the things they want to charge us for all they have is the messages that were signed by You and Emi there's a lot of people with the name James and Emily” He said and we all nodded
“The Guns may match the bullet casings but we can always say that we were framed pin it on my parents any other evidence like the money we work hard extremely hard that's all we have” He said
“If they tie the money and the bullet casings from the shootings to us we could serve time for everything Brian was doing his prison time for” Mike said but I shook my head as no
“Brian almost got life in prison that wouldn't make sense” I said and everyone nodded “If we get rid of the money we can stole we can always keep the money we had before” Becca suggested
“And The Guns? We can charged for manslaughter, first and second degree murder, robbery,prison break, vandalization of government property, breaking and entering and etc” Emi listed
“Okay we should just turn ourselves in the sentence can be reduced if the person or people confess to the crime” I suggested and Brandon thought for a moment
“No we'll stand firm we didn't commit any of the crimes they are accusing us of without any evidence okay understood?” He said and we all nodded in agreement
Fuck my job just got a lot harder than I thought it would be Brandon is half right they have no evidence other than the bullet casings which could have been put their by anyone,our finger prints also cannot be found on the guns
So technically they have nothing but that and Kaiden's word which I could get him to take back but he can charged with filing a false report against serious matters gosh it's too much and so frustrating
