Juggling Work-life and Dating Life was never but now it feels impossible because I really like James and hardly been at home would take a turn on our relationship

We're not living together hell we haven't even said I love you to each other but he stays at my house most times these criminals have improved their game so I've been busy trying not to get killed

Katie still isn't back from hiatus which means I'm stuck with Aaron he's a great partner but I'm so use to it being Katie and I he's just frustrating he always busy me lunch or breakfast

Or offers to buy me a break I'm stressed enough with work and James

“Are you going to sit in your car all morning?” Aaron asked knocking on my window snapping me out of my thoughts
“No I'm not good morning Aaron” I said getting out of the car and locking it

“These Criminals are being more consistent more than before” Aaron said handing me a cup of coffee “Yes I'm aware” I said walking into the station

“Cap wants you to go undercover and find out what's going on” Aaron explained “I can't they already know what I look like it wouldn't work” I said sitting down

“I tried to tell him that so what are we going to do?” Aaron asked and I shrugged it's too early for this “Jackson! My office!” The Capital yelled from upstairs I sighed and went to his office

“Good morning Cap” I said “There's a school shooting” The captain said my eyes went wide “What?! Where?!” I said he should be telling everyone about this “Jackson it's at New York City high school of science and technology”

What?! Brittany goes to school there “Is anyone dead?” I asked he shoot his head “The guards so far we haven't heard anything about students or staff” He said I nodded trying to calm down

“We're getting units there now but Jackson we believe it's the same people so be careful” He said I nodded and left the office to suit up when we arrived at the high school

Parents were outside separate officers having to hold them back “Have they made any demands?” I asked an officer “Alright everyone listen up!” The captain said

“We're not engaging unless they kill someone else okay” The captain said we all nodded and not even 5 minutes later a student was sent outside holding a sign

Officer Jackson Please Step Forward

“Cap? What do I do?” I asked “Follow along” He said I nodded and stepped forward outside the tape standing in front of the doors to enter the school I sighed my hand on my gun

Another student was sent out crying he looked so afraid

Drop all weapons and remove your bullet proof vest

I followed along removing my gun and taser I removed my vest afterwards placing it onto the ground my heart beating fastly in my chest two more students was sent out

I turned around and shouted “Stand down!” I said turning back around I walked towards the doors slowly it was opened and I was met with a pair of blue eyes

He pulled me inside the hallway was filled with students and staff some dead and some alive my eyes searched for Brittany but I couldn't find her

My heart ached for these parents that's outside waiting for their children “On the ground” one of them said it was a girl I got on the ground and she put tape over my hands and mouth

My eyes met a pair of green eyes I could have sworn I knew them from somewhere but the person quickly looked away I couldn't risk them killing someone else

“Who should we kill next how about your partner Aaron” One of the guys said I rolled my eyes don't listen to them

“What about your lover James?” One of them said my eyes widen how did they know about James I tried to ignore it they couldn't possibly know where he is

I spent an hour in boredom making sure they didn't kill anyone Brittany was still no where to be found my throat itched just then one of the girls came and ripped off the tape from my mouth

It hurt like a bitch “Where's Brittany?” I tried to ask calmly but i was beginning to really worry “How do you know we have Brittany?” The girl asked “You seem to know everything about my life so you'll know about Brittany....So where the fuck is she” I said

“Bring Brittany” The blue eyed boy said one of the guys went to a classroom and brought Brittany out she was bleeding from the side of her head tears ruining her makeup

Blood on her clothes once I saw her I immediately busted through the duct tape on my hands she gasped and ran to me I wasted no time wrapping my arms around her “Uncle Kai”

She sobbed “It's okay B I'm here”
I said she gripped onto me and sobbed harder “How the fuck can you do that” One of them asked “Listen It's time to let us the fuck go okay whatever you want with me get it over with”

“Oh is this your daughter or are you fucking her dad?” One of the girls asked and chuckled “B have a seat” I said she hesitated but did sit down I turned around

Pulling out two guns from in my pants “You guys didn't search him?!” The blue eyed guy yelled “Let's wrap it up” I said tired of this shit “Your an officer you wouldn't pull that trigger” One of them said

I pointed my gun to the blue eyed guy and shot him in the leg he groaned and dropped his gun “Let's go guys they'll come storming in any minute”

They helped the blue eyed guy and bolted for the back exit I exhaled deeply officers came busting in I picked up Brittany

And carried her outside immediately Connor ran over to us they let him through and I let Brittany down she ran to her dad
I went back inside staff and students bodies being bagged

While the others ran to their parents some parents had to bawl for their children lives that were lost today they went over board with this school shooting

I hated having to see so many dead children I knew I would have to answer questions and do an interview with the press but right now I didn't have to energy

After being checked out by one of the ambulances I pulled out my phone and called James hoping he's okay the phone went to voicemail multiple times which got me worried

“Officer Jackson! officer Jackson! We have a couple of questions for you!” The journalist yelled shoving cameras and mics in my face

“I'm free to answer all questions in an orderly manner” i said but just then the captain rushed over “Officer Jackson will do an interview tomorrow or another day thank you” he said dragging me back into the school

“We've got a blood sample on the floor” He said “Ofc there's blood on the floor people were murdered” I said irritated

“By the back exist Jackson get your head in the game” he said I sighed forensics took a sample and after an hour I was sent home my head hurt and I felt disgusted

“Jamie are you home?” I asked walking inside and closing the door “Kitchen!” I heard him yell I walked into the kitchen and hugged him tightly “What's wrong?” He asked

“School shooting it was horrible” I said he kissed my head “Go take a shower your so tense” He said I nodded and went to the bathroom stripping from my clothes I stepped into the shower

Leaning against the wall this is my life this is my job I've seen triple homicide but this is just beyond I got out of the shower after 20 minutes and changed my clothes

They've really pissed me off and I'm not going to stop searching for them until every last one is arrested and put in jail to rot forever
