- CHAPTER 10

I smiled, and closed my eyes, I did not stop thinking about a particular thing every second.

"- You think Wanda knew it was me by showing me that? I ask not smiling anymore.
- I hope not, it wouldn't be very cool coming from her knowing you're friends. he says while disinfecting my wound."

After a few hours, the Avengers returned from mission, I saw Clint, Steve, and not Natasha arrive.

"- Where is Natasha? I ask Steve.
-We lost her. He replied."

I looked around me, my mind boiling. I scratched my neck, nervous, as my gaze turned to Clint and Steve standing in front of me without talking.

"- You... You really lost Natasha, didn't you? I'm starting to get a little upset."

I shook my head, feeling a ball forming in my throat. My breathing became faster and faster, while a wave of anxiety invaded me.

"- She's out there, in danger, and you... you're there without going back to her to save her! I start screaming as I change my tone."

Steve, noticing my change of tone, stood up and looked at me seriously.

"- Lelia, we know she's there, but we need a plan. We have to organize our next step so we can bring her back. He explained calmly.

I felt a burning heat in my cheeks. My stomach became knotted, and i had the impression that the ground was falling under my feet.

"- And what? A plan? A plan!? What if she couldn't wait? What if she needed help now? I'm trying to scream."

My muscles contracted as I started to lose control. I was overwhelmed by the fear of reliving those moments when she had lost loved ones. Panic swept over me, and I felt my heart go wild.

I backed back, leaning against the wall, my breathing becoming jerky. I closed my eyes, trying to concentrate on my breathing, but each breath seemed more difficult.

"- Lelia, breathe. look at me. focus on my voice...

At that moment, I felt a wave of immense power go through my body and burst the room, also making my two friends fly.

Steve approached slowly, a hand stretched out to her, his voice soft and soothing.

"- Don't touch me! I could kill you! I scream, scared.
- Kill me? Hey, look at me, Lelia. Who told you that? He asks me.
-Everyone in H.Y.D.R.A, and even today, everybody is afraid of me, Steve. I reveal as I take my breath.

Bruce was behind me, watching me cry. He came closer and sat down next to Steve.

"- Look at me, I know what it feels like to lose control, but you have to learn from the controlled one. began Bruce.
-You have to do it, Lelia. said Steve."

I slowly got up and went outside, ordering that no one come with me, I sat down on the floor and breathed softly to calm myself.

Flashback
I went back into the house, arm wounded. I looked for Mom, who was here, and went to her.

"- Mom! I've been hurt! I say crying.
-Ah yes, go with me. She said coming out of the kitchen."

I followed him, still in pain, we arrived in the bathroom and she carried me to rest on the sink. She took out all that she needed to treat me.

We left in the kitchen, and Bruce slowly opened each cupboard one by one. I blew and used my powers to open them all. He turned to me and smiled.

"- Good idea. He says while continuing his search. I have it!

He took out the package and we sat on the chairs just behind us, he opened the package and I reached out my two hands to get a wrist of sweets.

I took one from my hand and gave it to him, I shoved all the handful of sweets into my mouth and started eating them, and he did the same.

We continued eating sweets and began to hear the rain falling outside, I looked out of the window.

"- Thank you, Bruce. I thanked you.
- For what? he asked, taking back a candy.
- It's nice of you to treat me like that. I say with a smile.
-Well, uh- It's nice, after normal that I treat you like that. He continued."

I took a wrist and we continued to talk until I don't know what time, the time did not count when I was with someone like him, or even Wanda and Pietro.
