- CHAPTER 9

Someone took me in his arms, I didn't turn around and stayed inside his arms.

"I miss them so much, you don't know how much. I cried."

I walked slowly through the air ducts, being the smallest of us all I was the only one able, I followed the instructions Clint gave me from the plane he was on.

"You're a psychopath. I heard Wanda say.
- Now, Lelia, try to control someone in the room. Ordered Clint."

I concentrated silently and chose Dr. Cho, who knew me.

"- You're going to cancel the construction program without saying anything and make Wanda and Pietro understand that they have to leave. She heard in her brain."

She nodded and I saw that she did exactly as I'd said, she looked at Wanda and said with her lips: "go, now."

Wanda grabbed Pietro in her arms and whispered a few things to him, he nodded his head and Wanda clenched at him and they left.

"- I know now, the Avengers who is there, come to face me. Warn Ultron.
-I'm going, Clint. I tell him.

I broke the gate and quickly descended to join the robot, he looked at me and approached me.

"- I was supposed to be beautiful, and Stark threw me away like nothing. He revealed.

- I was supposed to revolutionize the world, and now I'm destroying it.
- Do you really want to end up doing that? I asked.
- I need it, to avenge me near the Avengers. He answered
-And what do you do with the lives that you are going to take by taking revenge on them? I continue.
- They will live in a better world without Avengers. He realizes.
- The world... is better with the Avengers, children have gods than for them, the Avengers save lives, sometimes destroy but find a way to fix everything, you don't want to be like that? I ask.

I got up and walked slowly and stopped in front of him.

At that moment, the building exploded. I ran directly to Dr.Cho who had been there and placed me above her to protect her.

Captain America entered the room, filled with broken stone on the floor, he saw Dr.Cho lying on the ground.

"- Dr.Cho! he screamed as he approached her.
- Can anyone hear me? An earpiece says.
- Clint? he said in his earpiece.
-Cap, where is Lelia? asked Clint."

At that moment, he turned his head and saw Lelia, incontinent, lying down.

"- Lelia! Lelia, wake up. Fucking wake up! he screamed
-You... said a bad word. She said.
- I wish I had known you were alive in another way. He say, laughing softly."

He grabbed me and put me on his back, passed me the earpiece he'd found and grabbed dr.Cho too.

We left the building, all intact except for me.

"What happened there? he asked, seeing me wounded.
- She protected me from the explosion. revealed dr.Cho.
- I didn't have time to open a portal. I said. This is all my fault. I whisper."

He reached over and grabbed my head, looking down at me. He tried to dry the tears falling from my eyes.

The thoughts running through my head were horrible to deal with, each stronger than the last.

"- Nothing here is your fault, Lelia. You did what you could, and it's already too good what you've done. He reassured me."

He looked at me again, waiting for me to answer.

"- Repeat after me: it's not my fault. he said, smiling.
- It's not my fault. I repeat."

He took me in his arms and held me close, and I began to stop crying.

"- So, are we going to exterminate this shit? I said, ready to fight again."
-No, you go back to the Avengers tower right now. He ordered.
- Seriously? I said, opening a portal quickly.

Hi everyone. I said as I walked into the room.
- Weren't you with the others? asked Stark.
-Yes, but Steve told me to go home, and I got hurt. I explain.
-Again? Seriously, you're going to have to start paying. Bruce laughs as he walks away to the infirmary."

I followed him and entered the room, I lay down on the bed and took my shirt off.

"- I'd have to get a real outfit, not one from S.H.I.E.L.D. I said while laughing.
- I'll think of you when all is done. Bruce laughs too.
- What if it doesn't end? That we fight every day, without stopping? I imagine.
-He's going to stop, I'm sure. He says without promise."

I smiled, and closed my eyes, I did not stop thinking about a particular thing every second.

"- You think Wanda knew it was me by showing me that? I ask not smiling anymore.
- I hope not, it wouldn't be very cool coming from her knowing you're friends. he says while disinfecting my wound."
