As you step into the vibrant chaos of the dining area, the atmosphere is electric. Families are scattered throughout, children laughing and shouting in excitement, their faces lit up by the colorful lights. The animatronics are alive on stage, performing their routines and drawing cheers from the audience, and you can't help but feel a sense of awe at the scene unfolding before you.

Deciding it's best to eat here rather than risk getting lost outside and returning late, you find a quieter corner table where you can still watch the performances. You order a slice of pizza and a small drink, the aroma of the pizza filling your senses. You sink into the chair, taking a moment to breathe and absorb your surroundings.

As you take a bite, you reflect on your interactions with Afton so far. He seemed to ease up a bit after the initial tension, which made you wonder if maybe he was just having a bad day. The thought lingers in your mind as you chew, and you can't help but mull over the peculiar mix of irritation and grudging support he showed you. There's something intriguing about him, and though he's strict and intimidating, you sense a depth beneath the surface.

You take another bite, watching the bustling restaurant and the animatronics dancing and singing, and for the first time today, you allow yourself to relax just a little.

Ten minutes into your break, you're lost in thought when someone plops down across from you.

"Oh-Alex! Hi!" You smile at the familiar face of the cook, feeling a flicker of warmth at his presence.

"Hey! Saw you sitting all alone-I'm on my fifteen, so I figured I'd give you some company." He chuckles, his easygoing demeanor a refreshing contrast to the tension you'd felt earlier.

You glance around the bustling restaurant, filled with laughter and the sounds of children enjoying their day. "Thanks! I guess I didn't want to wander too far. I'm still kind of figuring everything out."

"Totally get that." He takes a bite of his own pizza, the cheese stretching as he pulls away. "You know we have a break room, right? It's a bit quieter if you want to escape the chaos."

"Yeah, I've walked past it," you reply, trying to suppress a smile. "But I figured it would be nice to see the performances. They're pretty entertaining!"

"True," he admits, glancing at the stage where an animatronic is spinning and twirling, drawing cheers from the crowd. "But trust me, the break room has its perks. We get the good snacks, and it's a nice little hideaway from all this." He gestures to the buzzing restaurant, a teasing grin on his face.

You can't help but laugh at his enthusiasm. "Maybe I'll check it out next time."

"Definitely. So, how's your first day going? Besides the grumpy boss?" He raises an eyebrow playfully, making you chuckle again.

"It's... definitely been a day. Mr.Afton can be a little intense, but I think I'm starting to understand him," you say, trying to gauge Alex's reaction.

He leans back, arms crossed, a knowing look on his face. "He's tough, but if you show him you can handle the work, he'll ease up a bit. Just don't let him intimidate you. Trust me, he's not as scary as he seems."

You nod, feeling a bit more reassured. "I'll keep that in mind."

The two of you chat more, the initial tension of the day melting away as you share stories and laughter, feeling more at ease in your new environment.

Your phone buzzes, alerting you that you have five minutes left. You had set a reminder earlier to help you keep track of time.

"Er-well, looks like I should head back to Mr. Afton," you say, glancing at Alex.
