A/N: Hey everyone! Changing things up a bit today and decided on writing pure fluff today. Hope you enjoy!

Being a mother is challenging work. Your fiancé and you welcomed your first child a couple of months ago in the spring. In the beginning, it was difficult to adjust to a new routine of life, having the little one waking you up from sleep every few hours of the night. It was even more difficult when Harry wasn't around at night due to his work schedule. He insisted at times that he could manage to take some time off but considering that he took the first three months off was already enough for you...or so you thought.

The first three months flew by, the baby sleeping and eating accordingly. But everything seemed to change once Harry started working again. She would constantly wake up and cry and at times it overwhelmed you. You suppressed how tired you were and dealt with it. You were ecstatic to have a baby. Being a mother was something that you had always wanted. Your little girl was everything to you and Harry and it brought you closer than ever. She is your little bundle of joy.

It was late in the afternoon and Harry was in the studio working on his new album at one of his friend's house. He had mentioned that he was going to be late tonight and to eat dinner without him. You were sitting on your sofa, looking outside through the window as the sun started to set. Lucy was sound asleep in her rocker chair. She looked so pretty when she was asleep. You on the other hand were exhausted. You didn't want to fall asleep just in case Lucy woke up and due to your sleeping schedule. "Maybe lying down wouldn't be so bad," you thought to yourself. So, you did. You lay down on the sofa and soon you fell into a deep sleep.

"I think we can call it a night, what do you think H?," Luke says. The boys had been working on a song all day and it was already 11 pm. "Yeah, I think we're good for today", Harry agrees, closing his lyric book and stuffing it into his tote. "Tomorrow?" Harry asks Luke. "Yeah," Luke agrees. "Alright mate, see you tomorrow. Have a good night," Harry picks up his belongings and starts heading towards the door. "Same, get home safe and tell Y/N I said Hi," Luke says as he bids farewell to Harry.

Harry didn't like leaving Y/N alone too much. He knew that she had been struggling with adapting to motherhood. Although even though she had insisted he go back to work, Harry sometimes felt guilty leaving her alone. His biggest achievement was becoming a father with the love of his life. He sent a text message to Y/N telling her he was coming home but he received no response. He quickly got into the car and drove home.

Once he pulled up in the driveway, he noticed that the lights were still on. 'She's still awake', he thought to himself as he unlocked the door and gently walked in. It was too quiet for his liking but once he stepped into the living room, he saw both of his girls sleeping. A small smile played on his lips as he walked towards the couch and crouched down in front of Y/N's sleeping body. He quickly grabbed the blanket from the other couch and placed it over her body before he walked over to Lucy who was starting to wake up.

Before she could cry, he picked her up from the rocker chair and held her in his arms. He walked over to the kitchen and started warming up her milk bottle. "Hey there princess," he whispered as she was now fully awake and aware of her surroundings. He couldn't believe that she was already 9 months old. While they waited for the bottle to warm up, Lucy grabbed Harry's finger tightly and started to fuss a little. She was hungry and started to get impatient. "There, there. It is almost ready Miss Grumpy," he whispered. The bottle warmer beeped, indicating that the bottle was ready. "Come on, let's leave mommy to rest," he tells her as he walks upstairs and into her nursery.

Sitting on the rocking chair, he fed his little girl. She moved her hands as she fed and grunted here and there. Harry was always amazed at how fast Lucy was growing up. Every time he got the chance to feed her it was a unique experience. Both father and daughter stared at each other and bonded in the moment. Once she was done with her bottle, Harry held her against her chest and patted her back, making her let out a small burp. "There you go. Good girl," he praised as he put her in her crib. Try going back to sleep, okay," he says, Lucy just babbling at him. "So cute," he mumbled to himself, grabbed the baby monitor from the nursery, and walked back downstairs.
